Who's ready for a Challenge?

Looking to see if anyone who's done the challenge before (90-120 days ago) is ready to take the challenge again? I'm looking to get a group of people taking the challenge! Start date of Wednesday, July 12th! Please send me a message if your interested. Looking to get motivation & it's always easier to do it as a group too! :) I'm looking forward to taking the challenge & realigning priorities. I also have a story regarding why our bodies DONT do it completely, but i'm not going to gross anyone out unless they ask & then I'll tell them it (if they choose). I'm now totally convinced after hearing that story that it's the right/healthy thing to do on a quarterly basis.

Who's interested in Zumba Sundays in July & August 4 week commitment...

still energized... :)

Getting ready for vacation & going to Zumba World convention... don't think I'm going to make my "visual or weight goal" for convention (hoping my back crease) the remains of my love handles went away... Yeah, I went from double handles to 1 remaining slight crease. or my 117lb. is going to happen... quite yet, but it's not all about the scale. As I'd mentioned in previous posts at 133lbs. (like since mid May) I've still been dropping inches & even bought a size 2 dress this past weekend! (I have yet to put it back on & post photos) going to post my symphony photos someday soon. Most of my clothes now are 4-6 so I'm solidly into that. Which has been far more than I've been able to accomplish in the past 6 years. So hey, 6 months is a very acceptable time to drop that so I couldn't be happier.  Can't wait until Zumba convention too. Guess that's it for now not much else new to write about.

umm guess 10 days went past... LOL

OK, still doing good. Moving into phase 2 the performance Elite phase. Doctor told me to not try to lose more weight or fall below 20% BMI (Body Mass Index) I'm getting close & didn't say I couldn't just to not cut much more or fall below the 20% (phase 1). Hormone wise this past 2 mo. my system is in complete revolt right now, but that's a totally different story & TMI. We're going to be working on trying to start family planning. (phase 3)
As for (phase 2) that would be what I've been doing since before Memorial day. Switching to "e" was the start of it & I've been using the following on a pretty regular basis in a nutshell:
• Catalyst (preserving muscle & continuing to get me my losing inches "lipo in a bottle")
• Mass Impact (building muscle & decreasing recovery time between workouts)
• Arginine Extreme (Provides excellent support for cardio workouts & More!)
• Nighttime Recovery (Gets me not feeling like 90 yrs. old rolling outta bed after 3 hour workouts)
• Muscle Strength (New product to test at Zumba convention!!!)
• Rehydrate (recommended for more than 1+ hour workouts as water doesn't cut it fast enough to help with removing toxins) Also, NO fake coloring!!! *AHEM* Gatorade/Powerade etc.
• MNS "e" (occasional Spark but not really feeling the need for more energy)... unless the paddy wagon might be coming to haul my bouncy butt off somewhere.

Start of Phase 3 ~Begins on Wednesday, July 13th with a 10 day cleanse!
Anyone wanting to do the "24 day challenge" with me this is the PERFECT time to do so & you can follow eating guidelines, grocery etc. with me. :) You can take the challenge every 90-120 days as the cleanse is NOT recommended to do it more often.
I went shopping again & found a bathing suit!!! (well more than that but the suit was the biggest buy)
Just in time for Orlando & Zumba convention.
Buy a bathing suit that feels comfortable. I always felt like I had to wear a two-piece bathing suit since usually that's what fits my short height. They're so commonplace & people of all sizes wear them, but especially people my age. I thought a one-piece was too "old" or stuffy. But wearing a two-piece, I learned, just made me feel WAY too exposed too. Baby steps as I haven't felt good about buying a suit in a long time now. So I shopped for a one-piece suit that I thought was cute & flattering. I found an awesome suit that fit great, offered all the coverage I wanted, and didn't leave me feeling so naked.
Best part it was $32... down from $80!
Size doesn't matter, they're always wrong anyways. It's never fun to try on a swimsuit—it's the most dreadful shopping most women experience. When I try my current "normal" size (4-6 at the present time or 16 girls) LOL , it was so tiny that it wouldn't cover the girls. I was not off to a good start. I ended up going up to a size 8 that really fit me properly. I just kept reminding myself that the size doesn't matter—only fit does.
No one else is going to see my size tag, but I'll tell you what they will notice:
Someone squeezing into a too-small suit because she refused to go up a size or two & "the girls" hanging out.
Give yourself a pep talk (I'll need to remember this when being surrounded in only a few weeks by toothpick twins at Zumba convention). The first several times I wore a swimsuit in the past month, I had to mentally prepare before the event, during it & even afterward. I reminded myself that no one was paying attention to me & that everyone can wear a swimsuit. I kept the words of another friend's comments in my mind: "If someone has a problem with you, it's their problem, not yours." It really helped.
If I fond myself feeling self-conscious in the moment, or starting to compare myself to other women & feel lousy about it, I'll just tell myself that we all have different shapes & sizes and we can't all look like Heidi Klum or the toothpick twins.
It may seem like other people have it easier than you do in some ways, but we all have our baggage & challenges. I'm no different than you or any other woman who feels swimsuit dread coming on. But that also means we're similar enough to get over our fears & start becoming active participants in our lives once again. Trust me—if I can do it, you can, too!

Sorry, you won't see a photo of me in my suit for this blog right now (I don't have one). Although, I have no problem sharing one, confidence in your swimsuit has nothing to do with how your body really looks. This new confidence—it comes from inside myself.

Size 16 to size 16!

I can sum up this past week in one 4 letter word~! BUSY! Anyways, been making pretty good choices & not eating as much as I used to. However, I've not been getting all of my exercise in but hey it sometimes happens. Good news is that for my cousin's wedding I was able to wear this super summery & cute GIRLS size 16 dress! Not to mention wore VERY comfortably a pair of fitted size 6 pants today too! Anyways,  the photo difference is below!
