2 months since my last post really?

OK, I'm back & hopefully past the busiest time of year in just a few days. Saturday I'm starting an AdvoCare 24 day challenge... Was just asked today why I was taking the challenge again... I'm like they recommend doing it every 90-120 days as needed. National average is 10lbs in 24 days. Even at a size 4-6 (I had gone down to a 2-4) in July a select few cravings have come back only because temptation of eating them reintroduced the "crap" into my system again & makes it harder to resist bad for you foods. I still suspect that I should easily be able to lose 10 lbs. in 24 days. Putting me into the low 120's & I'm guessing around 18% BMI. We'll see...

Anyways, strength training has been introduced since I started working with Margaret M. A personal trainer & owner of Purely Natural Fitness. Very inspiring. She showed me I thought I was fit & thinner but now should go for the "strong" part. My goal for this year was to lose 50 lbs. & I managed to do that... amazingly I think it has been the ONLY year in as long as I remember that I've actually achieved a NYE resolution. This years goal is to do 10 pullups & a chin up. Not to mention work on a new goal of getting stronger & be able to do an inversion on the pole...  like Margaret doing below...

Yeah, who knew they were more than for just scantily dressed women grinding for a dolla bill.  I tell you Margaret changed my whole outlook on exactly how strong you need to be to be able to do pole fitness. Hope to get there too. Doing PT with Darren Haag on Monday, he's all about strong & a professional natural body builder! Super excited to ask for his advice on how to get stronger too.

Ok, so work has been like CrAzY BuSy still. So really keeping it short. I'm still exactly the same weight as I was & I think the same size (need to get in again to double check that) but am fairly certain it's all the same. I need to lay off the ice cream but am still doing ok with it. Workouts have stayed about the same level or if anything might have even increased a little. (Amazing I've still been finding the time to do it). Anyways, BIG news happening really soon & I'll give everyone a hint....
Ok, so I won't totally give it away but please like them if you haven't already! :)
More news to come in the upcoming weeks!

New photo!

Going to have a special blog on wordless Wednesday. But here's an updated photo of me.
Still super super super busy at work so not much time to do anything & sleep is more important so I hope you all understand. Speaking of Sleep.... sleepwell has been working good for my husband & he's been able to sleep better. Not to mention Citrizinc is AWESOME tasting too! Rehydrate has been reformulated to mix better (thank goodness) I thought sometimes I was doing a Zumba Toning shaking the mixer bottle to get it dissolved sometimes. (Not that the extra workout shaking it hurt)
Hope everyone's doing well & don't hesitate to contact me if you have any ?'s or anything!

Weekend 30/31st

Ok once again I've sluffed on the weekend writing down everything that i've eaten... awesome. So no time to write it all but wanted to post that I made reasonable portion choices. Using dairy as an accent not a staple. I've been off of the MNS "e" since July 6th & have still been losing inches (weight not so much this week, but that has nothing to do with AdvoCare or what i've been eating).
Moved on to phase family planning: There are a few other products that are safe but I don't intend on using them (other vitamins but missing iron & other stuff that's duplicate of what's already on the list), Kids vitamins Champs are on as ok too, not planning on using them. I don't know how many of the meal/snack bars I'll actually use, but I added them in anyways in case people were wondering what's ok for family planning.
Omegaplex
• Catalyst
• Fruit & Fiber bars
• Corplex + iron
(recommended for pre-natal it has everything in them~ folic acid & everything overall vitamins)
• Breakfast bars (all)
• meal bars & shakes
(one of the best choices for a healthy breakfast with balance of protein & carbs.)
• Rehydrate the electrolyte replacement with no fake colors
   (unlike G2 & Powerade etc.)
(they're adding another flavor in just a few weeks at success school!)
• Snack bars
• Muscle gain shakes~ YES, this is on the safe list!
(I talked to another lady that had been taking it on Friday & she said she was losing inches on it even & gaining more muscle mass.)
• Post workout recovery
(helps with soreness & shorter recovery time after workouts)
(Nighttime Recovery works better but isn't a recommended family planning product)

• Amplify AT (nails, hair & more nutrition)
• Calcium Plus
• Peaches & cream fiber drink
helps with functions & I've heard that pregnancy causes constipation so glad that it's on the safe list. ;)
• Joint promotion (not sure if I'll use this yet but it's on the list!)
• Probiotics (help with heartburn & digestive issues)* I don't have heartburn but also rumored to be
another thing to expect during the process.
• .5 scoop or 1/2 packet of Spark per day is ok too.
Ok so bed time here.
As far as workouts this weekend I had 1.5 hours on Saturday of Zumba & 1.6 hours on Sunday. Not to mention various chores of hanging laundry, weeding, mowing the lawn & more too.

I'm in the ZONE!

I'm so close to my fitness goal 127lbs. 20.7% BMI today! Which is on the high end of EXCELLENT condition, almost superior zone!!! I started in VERY POOR in Dec.!!! Check out that 4 pack going on.. ;) Not quite a 6 but shouldn't drop much more weight per MD & get too thin or I'll be possibly asked just to put it back on anyways to get back up to 20% BMI.
PS. Photos were taken on 7/4 even I'll take new ones again this weekend....

A little over 7 mo. & I'm DOWN 51lbs. total & 15% BMI! I got measured & weighed at Curves Holmen location. I'm hoping to start food logging again since I need to keep my calories in check to be enough to maintain but yet get enough to be checking that I'm not well into the weight loss zone of less than 1,500 calories.

Torturous day at work....

Ok, so as much as I love my job... I hate being tormented by food porn... yeah I said it FOOD PORN...
Here's a hint of what's coming up next month, I'm just glad that we don't have any food stores within driving distance. I'd bet I wouldn't have lost 55lbs in 6 months if that was the case. (I weighed in at my new location Premier Fitness & hit 126! So I'm literally in the target zone now & maintaining is now the goal! :)

OK so here's the food porn....

Don't say I didn't warn you.....

Who's ready for a Challenge?

Looking to see if anyone who's done the challenge before (90-120 days ago) is ready to take the challenge again? I'm looking to get a group of people taking the challenge! Start date of Wednesday, July 12th! Please send me a message if your interested. Looking to get motivation & it's always easier to do it as a group too! :) I'm looking forward to taking the challenge & realigning priorities. I also have a story regarding why our bodies DONT do it completely, but i'm not going to gross anyone out unless they ask & then I'll tell them it (if they choose). I'm now totally convinced after hearing that story that it's the right/healthy thing to do on a quarterly basis.

Who's interested in Zumba Sundays in July & August 4 week commitment...

still energized... :)

Getting ready for vacation & going to Zumba World convention... don't think I'm going to make my "visual or weight goal" for convention (hoping my back crease) the remains of my love handles went away... Yeah, I went from double handles to 1 remaining slight crease. or my 117lb. is going to happen... quite yet, but it's not all about the scale. As I'd mentioned in previous posts at 133lbs. (like since mid May) I've still been dropping inches & even bought a size 2 dress this past weekend! (I have yet to put it back on & post photos) going to post my symphony photos someday soon. Most of my clothes now are 4-6 so I'm solidly into that. Which has been far more than I've been able to accomplish in the past 6 years. So hey, 6 months is a very acceptable time to drop that so I couldn't be happier.  Can't wait until Zumba convention too. Guess that's it for now not much else new to write about.

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

umm guess 10 days went past... LOL

OK, still doing good. Moving into phase 2 the performance Elite phase. Doctor told me to not try to lose more weight or fall below 20% BMI (Body Mass Index) I'm getting close & didn't say I couldn't just to not cut much more or fall below the 20% (phase 1). Hormone wise this past 2 mo. my system is in complete revolt right now, but that's a totally different story & TMI. We're going to be working on trying to start family planning. (phase 3)
As for (phase 2) that would be what I've been doing since before Memorial day. Switching to "e" was the start of it & I've been using the following on a pretty regular basis in a nutshell:
• Catalyst (preserving muscle & continuing to get me my losing inches "lipo in a bottle")
• Mass Impact (building muscle & decreasing recovery time between workouts)
• Arginine Extreme (Provides excellent support for cardio workouts & More!)
• Nighttime Recovery (Gets me not feeling like 90 yrs. old rolling outta bed after 3 hour workouts)
• Muscle Strength (New product to test at Zumba convention!!!)
• Rehydrate (recommended for more than 1+ hour workouts as water doesn't cut it fast enough to help with removing toxins) Also, NO fake coloring!!! *AHEM* Gatorade/Powerade etc.
• MNS "e" (occasional Spark but not really feeling the need for more energy)... unless the paddy wagon might be coming to haul my bouncy butt off somewhere.

Start of Phase 3 ~Begins on Wednesday, July 13th with a 10 day cleanse!
Anyone wanting to do the "24 day challenge" with me this is the PERFECT time to do so & you can follow eating guidelines, grocery etc. with me. :) You can take the challenge every 90-120 days as the cleanse is NOT recommended to do it more often.
I went shopping again & found a bathing suit!!! (well more than that but the suit was the biggest buy)
Just in time for Orlando & Zumba convention.
Buy a bathing suit that feels comfortable. I always felt like I had to wear a two-piece bathing suit since usually that's what fits my short height. They're so commonplace & people of all sizes wear them, but especially people my age. I thought a one-piece was too "old" or stuffy. But wearing a two-piece, I learned, just made me feel WAY too exposed too. Baby steps as I haven't felt good about buying a suit in a long time now. So I shopped for a one-piece suit that I thought was cute & flattering. I found an awesome suit that fit great, offered all the coverage I wanted, and didn't leave me feeling so naked.
Best part it was $32... down from $80!
Size doesn't matter, they're always wrong anyways. It's never fun to try on a swimsuit—it's the most dreadful shopping most women experience. When I try my current "normal" size (4-6 at the present time or 16 girls) LOL , it was so tiny that it wouldn't cover the girls. I was not off to a good start. I ended up going up to a size 8 that really fit me properly. I just kept reminding myself that the size doesn't matter—only fit does.
No one else is going to see my size tag, but I'll tell you what they will notice:
Someone squeezing into a too-small suit because she refused to go up a size or two & "the girls" hanging out.
Give yourself a pep talk (I'll need to remember this when being surrounded in only a few weeks by toothpick twins at Zumba convention). The first several times I wore a swimsuit in the past month, I had to mentally prepare before the event, during it & even afterward. I reminded myself that no one was paying attention to me & that everyone can wear a swimsuit. I kept the words of another friend's comments in my mind: "If someone has a problem with you, it's their problem, not yours." It really helped.
If I fond myself feeling self-conscious in the moment, or starting to compare myself to other women & feel lousy about it, I'll just tell myself that we all have different shapes & sizes and we can't all look like Heidi Klum or the toothpick twins.
It may seem like other people have it easier than you do in some ways, but we all have our baggage & challenges. I'm no different than you or any other woman who feels swimsuit dread coming on. But that also means we're similar enough to get over our fears & start becoming active participants in our lives once again. Trust me—if I can do it, you can, too!

Sorry, you won't see a photo of me in my suit for this blog right now (I don't have one). Although, I have no problem sharing one, confidence in your swimsuit has nothing to do with how your body really looks. This new confidence—it comes from inside myself.

Size 16 to size 16!

I can sum up this past week in one 4 letter word~! BUSY! Anyways, been making pretty good choices & not eating as much as I used to. However, I've not been getting all of my exercise in but hey it sometimes happens. Good news is that for my cousin's wedding I was able to wear this super summery & cute GIRLS size 16 dress! Not to mention wore VERY comfortably a pair of fitted size 6 pants today too! Anyways,  the photo difference is below!

Wed/Thurs 5/25-26

WED~Breakfast~ Choc. MRS
Lunch ~ Famous Dave's pulled pork with blackberry BBQ sauce/ chopped veggies & lettuce wraps. (leftovers for lunch tomorrow)
Late afternoon snack~ 2 sips of Curves vanilla protein shake... tasted like ~ivory liquid soap :P I stopped as I knew I had a very small peach to eat instead.
3 Catalyst~
30 min ZIC & 1 hour of Zumba Toning. No one was there for the Zumba hour afterwards. It was fine with me as I've had painful horrible female issues Wed. & Thurs. THANK goodness for Nighttime Recovery or I wouldn't be able to sleep either! Rapidly reminded of why i'd been on something the past 14 years to prevent such pain & agony from occurring.
Grocery shopping at Woodman's
pre-dinner snack 8:45pm~ 7 seasalt & vinegar almonds & 3 spinach/artichoke kettle potato chips. TOTALLY craving seasalt & vinegar (my DUH craving) I think I stuffed a small amount of something else in my mouth but I don't remember... & possibly not too. which is why I should diary daily.
Dang cravings... really?
9pm Dinner~ some leftover chicken helper & the zucchini casserole. Blackberries & strawberries for dessert & 1.5c. Dark choc. almond milk
Bedtime~ 1c. real apple juice w/ L-glutamine & Nighttime recovery
Thurs~ MRS vanilla with mango smoothie mixer additive & pineapple (pre-made which was only purchased as it was not something I'd buy unless on mega clearance) I wasn't that impressed either with it.
Lunch~ Leftover lettuce wrap/pork
Afternoon snack ~ Greek peach yogurt & blueberry/blackberries
3 Catalyst Zumba 1 hour subbing Rehydrate
Late afternoon snack 7:45pm~ Oreo filling Coldstone ice cream (SMALL) &  NO mix ins... Ok so I wouldn't have stopped but Sprint had a lot of people waiting & I have been putting off getting a bluetooth & really need one & the guy said I could come back in 15 min. & he'd help me out. Was sick of buying a new headset every year. The wire keeps breaking up & then I can't hear anyone on the other line. Not cool. We'll see how I like it. not sure how I can shut it off but I'll figure that out tomorrow....
Dinner 9pm~ Fresh trout 1.5 servings. 1.5c. dark choc. almond milk. 1c. Zucchini casserole, 1 corn on the cob ear with some butter (yes, the real stuff) & seasoning salt & pepper. stuffed.
Bedtime~ .75c. real apple juice & L-glutamine & Night time Recovery (why because I know that horrible ibuf has been rotting my gut the past few days) I REALLY hope that these horrible cramps go away any day now.... they're ruining my AdvoCare bliss.
At least nighttime recovery works VERY well on cramps just an FYI. Only problem is that you take it... yes, you guessed it at night.

Tuesday 5/24~ "e" is for Doubl"e" workout s"e"ssions

Breakfast~ Choc. MRS

Lunch~ Chicken breast & 1.5c taco seasoned brown rice
Lo & behold the granite counter of goodness actually had something on it that my will power couldn't muster to reject... I had 2 mini choc petite cakes made by the Fran Skemp bakery... These my friends are the solid gold of yummies. I wanted a 3rd but felt my stomach going WTH after I'd had 2 split apart & felt like if I attempted a 3rd that would have sent the AdvoCare food police on me.
5:30pm ~30 min. Zumba in the Circuit.
Dinner~ Leftovers from Bamboo house (split with hubby & a side of the zucchini casserole)

Friday-Mon. brief overview

Ok, so now that it's summer i'm going to cut back as I'll be out doing gardening on top of my regular Zumba schedule... Looking to possibly do a 3 week session in June but not sure yet of the location. Been eating pretty good & making good decisions most of the time. Not down at all this week on the scale, but that's not as important as I'm within 12 lbs. of goal weight & did have an inches lost instead this week as my "fat pants" were a 7/8 Jr's. Mother nature get meaner too when you get closer to your ideal weight it seems. Solidly into a size 6 so I'm ok with that... or at least for the next 3 days ok with it. Not that I have any choice in the matter.
I'm fairly certain I have not yet hit a plateau & need to start taking a look again at caloric intake. because it's the only thing left I really can do to continue to reduce my size. What stinks is that I haven't got a whole lot of play there even with my activity level. I mean seriously I can't go under 1,200 calories with my workouts or I'll pass out or something.... or at least feel like it. I can't exercise all that much more either or my body is going to just revolt or something there too. Is a size 2 too much to ask?
What also stinks is the fact that now I've gotten a taste of being normal sized again, I still want to go back to my HS weight/size. :P

Thursday~ "e" is for day off gard"e"ning

Day off: briefly put 9 hours of gardening. LOTS of water all day.
1 choc. MRS & added coconut milk 50/50 with water for breakfast & lunch (same MRS 1 total for both meals I wasn't very hungry for breakfast). If just coconut it thickens too much & forms pudding. :) which is also equally Yummy!
spread thru the day with appropriate timings: 1 serving Rehydrate, 2 Mass Impact, 4 Catalyst, 3 Seasonal Support, my "e" vitamins, 1 calcium, 1 extra fish oil, Amplify AT & .5 scoop of Spark, 3 ThermoPlus (recently read you can have up to 5 a day of these if desired).
Snack~ hummus & a few chips. 1c. orange juice
Dinner~1 chicken breast w/ seasoning & chipotle blackberry marinade, zucchini, a baked potato with sour cream & buttery spread, 1 peppermint generic Oreo cookie & 2 small caramel bunnies. Not to mention 1.5c. dark choc. almond milk. Please remember I did 9 hours of manual labor I think I deserved the cookie & 2 choc. bunnies.
Bedtime~2 nightime recoveries L-glutamine with 1c. Oj (it's going to go bad if I don't which is the only reason why i'm having a lot lately of it).

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

WED 5/18~"e" is for "e"xtra Zumba

Breakfast~ Choc. MRS & some fruit punch Rehydrate & then switching to water... it was leftover from last night so I wanted to finish it off.
Lunch~ Crudbutt... I forgot my  additional before & with lunch pills of, ThermoPlus, Amplify AT, Omegaplex & Calcium Plus. I'll have to get those with dinner tonight instead. I did have my "e" lunch pills which were with me. Lunch was 5 pieces of philly/salmon roll sushi, 1 salmon/avocado & 6 of tuna/avocado & hot & sour soup. STUFFED... I should have taken at LEAST 3 pieces home... or better yet won't be ordering 2 choices & will just go with 1 next time.
2:45pm~ ate apple in fridge, not because I was hungry but.... Oh crap.... I'm comfort eating... Going to have some more water or something. Stressful day at work just hurry up & waiting I really dislike. At least it rained which is why I'd wanted off in the 1st place to get gardening done.
Zumba in the Circuit 30 min. Zumba Toning 1 hour
Late Snack~ a few chips & olive hummus
Dinner~ will be my "smaller meal" Cheese burger in a wheat thin wrap flatbread & salad with 5 small green olives & 1 cup of dark choc. almond milk.

Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Dinner~ 2c. seafood mix (muscles, squid, shrimp, etc.) with rice noodles, frozen pear tomatoes & seaweed with healthy sauce packet (little high on the sodium but could be WAY worse.) 2c. 70/20 Vanilla/Dark Choc. almond milk & 1 serving of choc. caramel warm cake bowl. (I split it with hubby so it wasn't 2 servings)
Bedtime~ .75c. orange juice with L-glutamine

Monday, May 16, 2011

Monday~ 5/16 "e" is for more gard"e"ning

Ok, so I'm not sure why I had to be to work today instead of home with the hubby... lots of projects that just aren't getting approved or something.

Breakfast~ Choc. MRS made with vanilla coconut milk & water. (it REALLY thickened up) I normally wouldn't be using anything but water but the coconut milk has a date on it & hubby isn't wild about it either.
Lunch~ Spinach wrap with vegan ham, rice cheese & 1TBS. horseradish bacon sour cream spread, organic apple sauce & choc. Oikos organic Greek yogurt 4 oz.
If you haven't noticed there's a lot more organic food recently in my diet. I'm sure you're all wondering why the sudden change. Since AdvoCare has assisted in helping me lose more weight guess what...
eating less = less grocery bills = ability to spend more money on better quality food.
Our grocery bills have been cut almost in 1/2 by not having to buy all kinds of food & more of it as previously used by my body. I'm more satisfied with less & even more satisfied with healthier higher quality food.
Kind of like good quality dog food. Good quality food = less poop as more nutrients are being used.
1pm-4pm~ Drinking .5 scoop of Spark still.... better get on the ball with my water quota for the day. Just not thirsty much today...
Late Afternoon snack~ 1 piece of chocolate & 2 choc. dipped pretzels
Arganine Extreme 30 min before & fruit punch Rehydrate during/after
Gardening & various activities 2 hours.  Got zucchini (different variety), 2 kinds of winter squash, more radishes (10 days separated) from other radishes planted & some rows started.
Dinner~ .5 cup zucchini, 1.5c. pasta ravioli,  3 meatballs 2 bites of pumpkin, 1 scoop frozen berry yogurt with 1 Tbs. hot fudge. remaining Rehydrate.
1.5 c. Almond 50/50 mix with L-glutamine before bed.

Weekend~ Saturday & Sunday "e" is for Pugf"e"st

Saturday~ ZIC 30 min in Onalaska, 10am-4pm AdvoCare Training Then off to Pugfest.
Breakfast~Zone protein snack bar (on sale at Woodman's) wasn't that amused but it did fill me up some.
• Lunch~1/2 bagel w/ cream cheese & smoked salmon. Literally in AdvoCare training all day. I hope the fish didn't offend anyone. MRS next time that there is a working lunch.

• Dinner 9pm~ blue Razz martini. Yeah, guess what it tasted like... YUCK. I would have LOVED this like 6 mo. ago. Did have the most tasty baked sweet potato, 1/4 chicken & small piece of bread. .5 piece of choc. cake

Sunday~PUGFEST!!!
• Breakfast~3 HB eggs & part of 1 biscut & gravy. part of grape Spark .5 scoop
• Lunch~1/2 bagel w/ cream cheese & smoked salmon, Greek berry yogurt, organic apple sauce, banana
Late snack~ 1 piece of gum~ it tasted icky.  I don't know why I insist on eating foods I don't like anymore & just need to stop eating & not even bother anymore.

Almost 1,500 pugs & 2,500 people attended Pugfest 2011! (official count wasn't released yet) It was quite the event. Won & bought some items & Jamie forgot the camera so not many photos.

Weather people lied so I didn't attend a Zumba class which I was going to do if it was raining. Instead I planted, dug & did 2 hours of gardening.  Quite the workout. I did run up & down our hill in the yard several times too for water, this, that & to go get a belt as I almost lost my pants several times since my clothes are far too big now.

Monday~ "e" is for pamp"e"ring & r"e"pairing

Spa night! What a great day it's going to be, I was thinking leaving early for work to not have to rush since they're doing construction on the road. (no road closures posted on Friday were a good thing you'd think, right?) well they should have... this is what happened. ALL I have to say is they'd better pay for it. It's their fault they didn't close the road & have flag people directing where they should drive on the 2 lane highway!

RE: Incident on County Road V 8:25am Monday 5/9/11
Was driving down the road & saw the sign that said 1 lane road ahead. Was already driving 20 MPH (below recommended 35mph posted signs) Slowed down to about 15mph as I saw a gravel pile (strip) in the middle of my southbound lane extending down the middle of the road approx 3-5” high. The pile continued on up toward the hill & very rapidly increased to approx 10-12” deep in the middle of the southbound lane. My car had straddled this strip putting me in the middle of my lane in anticipation that it would remain about 3-5” high. I pulled out into the oncoming traffic lane as I could see the pile was getting even deeper & carefully pulled out into the oncoming lane.
I drove thru it, my car continuing to be bottoming out & FINALLY approached the work vehicles that were stopped in the middle of the northbound lane a good .25 mile after I had my car hitting the deep pile & then getting out of it.

I rolled down my window & told the guy that my car was bottoming out & said I didn’t think I could get back over the rut I also asked him if the road was closed up ahead or if there was more gravel that deep. He said to stay on the far side of my lane & there should be room. He kicked down the pile so I could drive back over it to get back into the lane I should have been in. The rest of the drive was VERY narrow at points but I was at least able to stay out of the gravel I continued to drive very slowly as I fear the damage to my car had already occurred.
There should have been signs posted over the weekend that they were going to be working on the road & sticking obstructions that high into the lanes & on the road during this time. I would have taken a different route into Holmen.
My car is now making horrible noises while in idle & sounds even worse when put into reverse. I’m now taking my car in for an estimate which will cost me $30-$60 since this wasn’t an issue before this morning & is now a huge concern as I fear something might have happened that could be very serious, since it sounds that bad. I’m VERY disappointed that residents weren’t warned sooner that the road would be impassible or that there wasn’t flag people further back before the obstruction was too deep in the middle of the lane saying to keep right, or something. ROAD CLOSED would have been appropriate…. Since now I have to take the time to get my car fixed due to my AM commute & figure out how to get everywhere for at least a few days.
I would NEVER have driven my car in the lane or have driven it thru that deep of gravel had I known that there would have been that kind of obstruction in the middle of the southbound lane.

OK, so I get to rant since I was WIDE awake thankfully when this happened.
• Breakfast~ Choc. MRS
• Lunch~ Pad Thai meal in a box. 33% sodium... :P but only 330 calories so it could have been worse. No HFCS & were rice noodles so not a terrible choice & it wasn't like I'd purchased it recently so it had to get eaten at some point in time.
• Dinner~ 1 venison steak, 2c. fresh/frozen zucchini, 1Tbs. fresh/frozen pumpkin, 3 choc PB bunnies

Weekend 5/7 & 5/8 "e" is for gard"e"ning

Saturday~ 7:30, 8:30 & 9:30 30 min Zumba in the circuit sessions MRS at 8am. 11am Zumba toning hour. Did 2-3 hours of gardening & chores. 2 turkey cheddar franks on a wheat bun & a few fries baked in toaster oven. Dinner was ? oh crap... really I can't remember 2 days ago. I've been trying very hard to put less emphasis on food & now I can't remember other than it was a good healthy choice & portion of food.
Sunday~Breakfast~ 1c. lucky charms & almond milk (I know... but you know what? I didn't like them & missed my choc. MRS...)
Lunch Cheeseburger on wheat bun & fresh real guac. with organic Boulder brand spinach/artichoke chips (pretty much the only chip I'll eat & are only like a special treat when on sale).
I spent pretty much the whole day gardening & rototilling. This is not to be taken lightly as a day off. Had Mass Impact prior & Rehydrate & lots of water during) since our $700 (paid for by AdvoCare checks) is just as demanding of a workout if not more than any weightlifting or Zumba or anything. It was wrangling the beast of a tiller thru the toughest hardest clay type soil you can imagine. It's only the 2nd time the ground has been broken & our 4 gardens are HUGE we're talking 10'x10' to 50'x20' in size. My hubby & I even took turns tag teaming to get all 4 gardens tilled. Not to mention I hoed like 3 rows & got some stuff planted yesterday too! Radishes, lettuce (2 varieties), 3 onion varieties, zucchini & carrots (2 varieties). I have more that needs to be planted but will have to wait for the next dry day. (not supposed to happen for another 5 days again) I also did some other manual labor around too. I had so much energy & I felt great. That would have just wiped me out & then some anytime in the past 5 years or more.
Mothers day dinner. VERY healthy! MIL is on the challenge & is losing weight & inches! Chicken with BBQ seasoning, venison, organic potatoes & carrots, frozen/fresh pumpkin with pumpkin pie spices on it (no buttery spread or anything) 1c. choc/vanilla almond milk... I ran out so it was a mixture. Swig of Coors Light (yup, still didn't taste good) & 1 PB bunny after MIL left. .5c. Trop50 with 2 nighttime recoveries & L-glutamine (both were needed as I was more sore going to bed & knew I didn't want to feel that way in the AM & I didn't).

Friday, May 6, 2011

Fri. 5/6~ "e" is for R"e"ving up for the weekend

  • Breakfast~ Choc. MRS & .25 pink lemonade Spark
OK, I didn't sleep super hot last night. Mostly because I was hot & then I swear I'm the only person who can hear the water softener cycling in the middle of the night which made me have to go. It's ok I still feel GREAT this AM!
  • Lunch~ remainder of small portion of chicken (we're not even talking a 1/2 serving here), 2 servings of corn with "buttery" sauce & 1 serving of golden delicious dehydrated apple chips.
Stupid dress shoes... I hate wearing them sometimes. I bit it on the parking lot steps walking today going out to determine what kind of vinyl is on a glass panel & then fell full out as I wasn't expecting my shoe to just flop off like worse than flip flops.  It's ok as I'm not hurt. My co-worker was pretty concerned but I said I was fine right away. All of those hockey falls teach you something. Got a small scuff on my 1 knee but nothing hurts. Was wearing jeans so very happy for that. FYI my shoe size decreased & most of my size 7's don't fit. Who would have thought that my feet lost weight?

• Snack~ 3:20pm Med. banana
•Dinner~ I actually can't remember. Weekends are going to be super busy this summer it seems between gardening & such. I did eat healthy

THU~ "e" is for R"e"v Abs Day 2

Ok so this AM I'm like 30 min of ZIC & I really should do day 2 of Rev Abs (& I'm sure I'll suck it up & do it)... Ok my butt still hurts getting into the car. We're not talking my butt muscles.. Heck no, I've got buns o' steel I'm talking about my tender tail bone. It's like I fell on my butt on ice or something. Apparently, the hinder has gone soft from all of the Zumba & not getting down on a mat & I'm paying for it now. I never thought my pectorals & butt would ache so much doing a "Abs" oriented workouts. My abs... not so much, my lower has a little ache only when moved. Quads & upper abs are like PHFFTT, WHATEVER... I didn't notice anything.... workout what workout?
  • Breakfast~ 9:40am Choc. MRS & .25 pink lemonade spark at 10:45am (finished around 12:30pm) I'd been noticing that I've only been having .25 of a scoop not even .5
  • Lunch~ remainder part of of skin removed chicken, 1 bun with small partial pat of margarine, 2  serving of white/yellow sweet corn with herbs. I got full as I ate the chicken last. Still part remaining & wasn't even a card deck size of meat eaten off of it.
  • 3 Catalyst 15 min prior to 30 min ZIC
  • 1 O2 ~1 hour prior, Mass Impact~ 35 min prior, 45 min Rev Abs day 2, 2 servings of Rehydrate, 1 Tsp. L-Glutamine afterwards mixed into remaining Rehydrate. Walked dogs some in there too.
  • Dinner~1.5 c. of leftover pasta/raviolis & 5 medallion coin sized breaded vegan eggplant Parmesan bites, water &.... I don't know what possessed me but had some of the sugar dried fruit & dehydrated sugar apples. Not to mention 4 small PB choc bunnies... That was 2 bunnies too many. I shrugged it off but hubby was correct. Was a bit of overkill even if I did workout extra.
  • Bedtime~ .75 C. Trop 50 with 2 nighttime recoveries & 1 Tsp. L-Glutamine again.

Wed 5/4~ "e" is for Tripl"e" Zumba

Morning~ok so after the abnormal workout of pushups, crunches, booty bridges (love that exercise & that's not sarcastic) & more I am surprisingly hardly touched with anything sore at all thanks to nighttime recovery. My tailbone however is a mildly different story. Stupid butt bone from laying on the carpet & padding (even with a yoga mat too is still tender) it's ok though as Day 2 won't happen until at least Thursday. Make way for 30 min of ZIC, 1 hour of ZT & 1 hour of Zumba.... none of which involve getting my booty on the floor.
Breakfast ~ 6oz. Greek Yoplait peach yogurt.
Lunch~ super early as expected Chicken Q. Roasted chicken 1/2! I only ate a thigh & drumstick. Scraped all of the skin off of the rest & had the small amount of baked beans & potato salad for lunch. A small apple later for dessert.
Snack ~ 1 mini choc. chip KT cookie... why 1 because it tasted like not good. I was very disappointed & yet pleased at the same time. I won't be doing it again since it didn't taste good to me anyways.
Late snack at 3pm~ part of a small banana (it had some brown spots I didn't eat on it.)
4:32pm 1 O2® for raising my oxegen levels 1.5 hours of Zumba tonight (no one for my shed Zumba at 7:15pm tonight) :( My late night ladies came at 6:15pm instead, so at least it's not me . Going to try out Mass Impact® (AdvoCare product) too starting at 5pm! Whoo Hoo is that going to be fun. Starting on getting ripped going on tonight! I'm ok with that & the new scale at Curves in Holmen that confirmed I was down to 134.2! Not that it's an official weigh in day or time, but hey I'll take it. I'm sure it will continue to trend towards removing my crease line where handles used to be since I will stay on the trim line products thru beginning of June.
pre dinner snack 8pm~ 5 dried caramel apple dehydrated chips & 1/4 cup of dried mango, pineapple, papaya slices. (all of which were FAR too yummy to have been healthy which is why I just got a partial serving)
Dinner 9:20pm~ 1.5c. wheat pasta & tortellini with smoked cheese in it (not much stuffing but enough to flavor it) pesto & olive oil "sauce" more of a drizzle if you call it that, I can't wait for fresh basil & fresh parsley pesto, 1c. dark choc milk. 2 small. choc pb bunnies. I knew I shouldn't have weighed myself.... Seems I get cocky & then don't lose anything on Thurs. or Fri. when I do that.
I'll have to check my ego at the door & stay on task to make sure I see 133 on Saturday AM.
bedtime~ .5 Trop50 with L-glutamine & 2 nighttime recoveries. Thru the day I was pretty good. Butt is a bit sore tonight & my pecs from all the pushups too but that didn't happen to start aching until I started using them during Zumba. I had a little bit of a lower abs ache when I was working out as well but nothing unmanageable.

Tuesday~ "e" is for Tripl"e" workout s"e"ssions & R"e"v Abs

Special tip of the day~ Working out 30 min. 2 times a day is VERY & MORE effective to keep your metabolism up thru the entire day rather than ramping it up only once for an hour during the day.

Breakfast~Vanilla MRS.... feeling kinda screwed outta my Choc. MRS but hey, I can always do that tomorrow & sometimes change is good. .25 scoop pink lemonade Spark.
Teaching Zumba 30 min. at the gym 3 blocks down from work.
Lunch 1:45pm~ veggie burger (southwest style) on small wheat on half of a mini loaf of sub bread...cheese... oh well it made it taste so yummy. 6 oz. Greek honey vanilla yogurt.. full.
Snack~ 3:45pm a small green apple.
ZIC~ 30 min. Curves
Ok, so I got home & still had too much energy. Went for a brisk 15 min. walk with the dogs (it was their 2nd of the day & they weren't thrilled about it) & hubby too & then he was like I'm tired but you seem to still have so much energy. So I popped in the RevAbs Day 1 DVD's & startup DVD. It was pretty cool to see that they had Brazil martial arts incorporated into some of the moves. Some of them looked very similar to Zumba moves too. So I did a little over an hour of strength training focusing on entire body & mostly on abs also. Most I did was full out but I did some of the modifications... I've never been a 3 sets of 16 pushups kind of person or neck cranking for regular situps. It was pretty intense but do-able (especially when some of the modifications were done & I didn't add all of the "spice" in the 3rd set of reps. Not because I was tired but I didn't want to mess up my 2.5lb. Zumba Toning weights. When I do it again I'll get the dumbells from downstairs. Stupid DVD player in the workout room still won't work with the new larger TV correctly. VHS works but not the DVD player visual. :P Being a new set I need the visual for awhile until I just need the verbal.
Dinner~ 1 serving of rare steak, 1.5c. fresh/frozen pumpkin with pie spices on it,  1 serving Trader Joe's grilled marinated eggplant/zucchini. 2~1" dark choc with seasalt squares. (personally I would have eaten the whole bar I swear, but it was already a partial opened bar & shared with hubby to make the excuse to myself that there wasn't any more. No almond milk tonight, lots of water though.
.5c. of Trop. 50 juice (new container) & my 1 Tbs. of L-glutamine & 2 nighttime recovery pills.

Monday, May 2, 2011

Monday~ "e" is for "e"verything

Breakfast~ 10am not kidding got busy & kept forgetting to drink my MRS or even mix it until then. .5 pink lemonade Spark. (I didn't have any over the weekend) Didn't have any headaches or caffeine withdrawl or anything. Didn't miss it much being on "e" I have noticed that it practically takes the need for Spark out of my system too.
Lunch 1pm (stomach hit snooze)~ 1 HB egg, I LOVE eggs. Lettuce w/ Italian & BB Greek Yogurt 6oz.
Snack 2:45pm~ 1 med. banana
5:15pm WoW what an insanely busy day. :P Got lots done but used the energy that I needed.
Wrapped it up with a haircut from my friend Georgia. She's so awesome, funny & much more personable & not rushed when cutting my hair. Usually she leaves it too long & then recuts it shorter. She got it on the 1st time tonight! Short & just the way I want to keep it easy for Zumba & showering quickly. Got to get it bleached again but that's a longer night.
Dinner 8:20pm~ Veggie burger with cheese (yes the real stuff tonight) K & M on a wheat bread/sub 1/2 of one (no buns in the house) 1c. choc chai rice milk. 1 serving of frozen/fresh zucchini, 1c. frozen/fresh pumpkin. (very small amount of butter on both) 1 scoop BB/pomagranate frozen yogurt & 1Tbs. hot fudge.... wait I'm not done yet, I think I'm going to activate the food cops tonight. 1~1" square of dark choc. perhaps not. No Zumba tonight. :(

Sunday, May 1, 2011

Weekend 4/20 & 5/1 "e" is for new cloth"e"s

Saturday~
Breakfast~small low sugar granola bar & watermelon
Lunch~3 chicken taquitos (not a great choice but could have been much worse)  & salad
1c. dark choc. milk
Dinner ~Sushi (cheat meal) I had a reasonable amount of food & hot & sour soup cup
1.5 hours of Zumba in the Circuit
Sunday~ Breakfast 1/2 (non-sugar) cchip muffin & 1 banana
Lunch~salad with egg, ham, black olives, tomatoes, chives & basalmic dressing 4 Frito's chili cheese chips & fresh fruit with a tiny bit of  cream cheese dip on it.
Is it wrong that I found the perfect fancy dress in a girls size 16 & it fit to wear to my cousin's wedding? I'm going to use the other size 6 dress for the brunch the next day instead... It wasn't quite fancy enough for the wedding setting I think but would work beautifully for brunch. :) all set to go & even if more shrinkage should occur nothing will fall off so I think I'm all set!
Snack~ 6 pretzels
Dinner~ 1 venison steak, .75c. pumpkin, 2c. shredded zucchini,1.5c. of dark choc. almond milk, 2~1" squares of dark chocolate with sea salt.

Friday, April 29, 2011

Friday~ "e" is for bra & underw"e"ar

Ok.. so apparently I've put it off for long enough. I'm on the tightest hooks of my 36's & have officially lost pretty much the only good thing about having some extra weight on you. So either I need to go buy some tissues or I need to make a stop to VS. hmmm free bag with $75 purchase this weekend. Let me think about that! NOT. That & I need to go to Kmart or someplace to get some non-fancy ones that don't look like I lost my butt & forgot where it possibly could have gone while I'm working out. I also still have to hunt for the elusive swim suit. I'm going to hold off a bit yet, as I'm pretty sure i'm not quite done shrinking. Currently wearing a 9/10 JR pair of jeans & they're needing a belt. :P
Breakfast~Choc. MRS & .5 pink lemonade Spark
Lunch 12:45pm~ .5 of a partial chicken breast, 15 cherry tomatoes & few bites of salad. Really... full already?

3:40pm~ the rest of the 1.5 c. of side salad with 4 small green olives & Italian dressing. Not really that hungry but it will be a later dinner & I'd put dressing on it so we all know what happens when dressing sits on salads too long. :P

Thursday, April 28, 2011

Thursday~ April 28th "e "is for Curv"e"s

Stupid rain go away I wan tto take the dogs for a walk early some morning. I'm hoping to do something different every morning on "e" & see if it turns me into even more of a morning person from a "well ok I'm ready to go, I'll get up the alarms about to go off" & improve that to "WhooHoo what a great morning!" I took a shower (I usually don't shower in the AM) so that was an additional add on to the morning.
Breakfast~ Choc. MRS, .5 scoop pink lemonade Spark
Lunch~ side salad of lettuce, carrot, red cabbage, basalmic dressing & 1 HB egg
3pm snack~ 6oz Greek peach yo-plait yogurt. (higher in cal. but much more protein & better for you)
30 min. of Curves in La Crescent tonight! (a new class for May)
1 person showed up, it was kinda last minute but I'm sure there will be more on Saturday am.
Dinner~ 1 pork cutlet, some baked yams & zucchini, .5 serving of corn stuffing & small side salad with some olives, cherry tomatoes & Italian dressing. 3 small PB choc. bunnies & 1c. of dark choc. milk.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

WED~ "e" is in V"e"t

So took our foster pug Gina to the vet to get her shot boosters. I had to get up EARLY... or well early for me... which means I'm glad I did switch to MNS "e" as mornings have been getting much easier having been on the vitamins & not as tired lately but was REALLY easy getting up being on "e" I've also dropped the Amplify AT & no Spark due to just starting the new set & wanting to know how it worked before amplifying or Sparking it up. Gina went outside... I'd assumed it was safe... NOPE we had Poo in the kennel too. Awesome to stop by the side of the road & have to hurry before she turned the back into a poo fest.

breakfast~ granola bar 80 cal. Why? because Lunch is going to be my "bigger meal" of the day at River Jack's soup & salad bar. So I had some of the chicken & rice soup (not even the cup full) it was too creamy. Raspberry chicken breast half, some of the mango porkroast (tiny bit less than a serving). 1 serving of steamed veggies, 4 small chunks of browned potato (baked?) it wasn't deep fried or anything like that & 1/2 of a small slice of cheese cake & strawberries & some choc. drizzled on top. So full.... uggghhh I didn't eat that much but I have a feeling the food police might be in shortly.
So I was let of just with the overfullness warning. I'm feeling a bit better now & still full at 5pm.
Dinner is at 9pmish tonight & might possibly be a MRS... Ok perhaps I'd misjudged my timing.
OH I'd forgotten to type in that I did 2.5 hours of Zumba type activities.
After grocery power-sale shopping & finding the best kind of "buttery spread" with Melissa (she loved it) I made it home & after getting settled... went WHAT? 10pm already. I'm not even hungry. I did have 1 HB egg (a few tiny sprinkles of chicken pleasoning & .75 c. of juice with my L-glutamine (Catalyst) & 2 nighttime recovery pills. WoW will 2.5 hours of Zumba kick your butt after almost 1 WHOLE week off! Luckily 30 min of Zumba in the Circuit was a nice way to break back into getting back in yesterday before my 2.5'er today.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011

Tues 4/26~ e is for energy....

Ok so new set of 14 day vitamins to try... I'm switching to the "e" as "c" when paired with Thermoplus is working FAR too well. NO Spark this AM since I should have more than enough from the e which has proven to be the case as guessed.
Thermoplus has balanced out the food part quite well today.
Breakfast~ MRS shake & water.
Lunch~ spinach wrap with small amount of thin sliced roast beef 1tbs of guac & rice "cheese" & small green apple.
Full. I even had to force myself to drink more water to take my lunch pills.

Monday 4/25 Meeting the AdvoCare CEO

Breakfast MRS (choc.) & grape Spark
Lunch~ Rice noodle bowl (veggie & most of the oil left out)
Dinner~ catered in to Stoney Creek.
What an AWESOME night it's going to be! CEO is pinning JP & Angela (They now make selling AdvoCare after 9 years in 2 weeks what most of us make on a 2 income household in an entire YEAR combined!)
Kim made Ruby pin in about 2 yrs. (about 80K/yr) & Amanda pinned silver (about 13K/yr) She's only been actively selling since JAN. of THIS year 2011!
There is still time to come to the informational meeting & to meet a lot of these people at 7:27pm tonight at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska! Not to mention that there are about 22 more chances for me to win a rookie bonus that could be up to 7k EVERY pay period for the 1st 24 pay periods your an Advisor & I'm currently ranked 158 in the nation of the eligible advisors that could possibly get an all expense paid trip for 2 to the Bahamas at a 5 star resort.... After a pending direct to Advisor customer we'll be in the top 100. (the top 25 go to the bahamas!) Since ALL of my business transactions from other people are all new legs of business, I only need about 2.6 more new Advisors (as of right now with current standings) to get into the top 25! I'll say it's looking pretty good right now!
Dinner~ 4 Swedish meatballs, 3 chicken wings (small) .5 slice of cheese, 3 mini carrots & small amount of dressing. Some various fresh fruit & almost 1 piece of the red velvet cake.
Post dinner bedtime snack (I snuck 1 choc. PB mini bunny) & had .5c juice & L-glutamine.

Easter weekend 4/23-24

OK so really quick Breakfasts consisted of: Sat. (organic granola bars) no HFCS &  sugar free (not lo-cal) 1/2 or cc muffin (Sunday). & fresh fruits.
Lunches was 1/2 of a healthy turkey/artichoke subs with mustard & other veggies on it.
1/2 Spark on Sat & 1/2 SLAM on Sunday.
Dinner Saturday~ Culvers Beef patty melt & most of a small brownie concrete mixer (hubby said he was going to share & I'm no longer believing him.) The AdvoCare "food police" came in that evening & made me feel not so hot. (not bad but not great as usual) I suspected a warning & it was heeded.
A couple of organic olive chips & fresh guac. & 3 choc. mini PB bunnies thru the weekend.
Sunday Dinner was some broasted chicken (almost all of the skin removed) baked yams & zucchini & some corn bread stuffing with cranberries & fresh apples in it. small slice of straw-rhubarb pie (I don't like the crust anyways so that edge was passed on,)

Friday, April 22, 2011

Friday 4/22~size 6, 136 in under 6 mo.

Breakfast~ Ok this is getting like just unbelievable... 11:20am just now finished my Choc. MRS. it was yummy & tasted just fine. Savored every last drop as always. Pink lemonade Spark started at about 11am. Pretty soon i'm going to be eating lunch at like 2pm or something as i'm just not hungry or feeling the urge to stuff my pie hole. Wearing comfortably shrunken & not new pair of 7/8 jr's jeans... yeah we're talking size 6 women's baby. Anything in double #'s has been put away as it's now falling off of me. 10's need a belt if I do want to wear them.

My only regret right now is (besides having to keep trying clothes on a day ahead of time that I just wore the previous week) is that I didn't start AdvoCare sooner... darn what if's... I could have not had to have had my friend's wedding dress altered to fit my fat gut 2 weeks before my wedding? I could have done this years ago & never have even had to have bought size 16's. Gaining weight had put undue stress on my body, borderline high blood pressure & more. Don't wait if you've been thinking about it... I wish I would have listened to my friend Amanda sooner. The cost was what kinda turned me off of it, but come to realize financially it's already paying for itself & then some not even 2 mo. after actively sharing my story & products with other people.
I know there are people out there that the 24 day challenge isn't financially in their budget... I was one of those people...
But starting with a distributorship & getting on some products & sharing with others that you know are interested will work & get you able to try more products too. There are so many ways that a lot of people don't even realize the savings that happens. Our grocery bill got cut practically in half! Not to mention even having the luxury of switching to Organic & other specialty items. Eating out got cut in 1/2 as the same meals out now last like 1-3 MORE for take home dinners. The list just goes on & on. Not buying stuff anymore for breakfasts at KT or forgetting lunch MRS there to save having to go out to get something from work. etc.
1:15pm lunch... stomach never made up it's mind & kept quiet, so I just did for it. 1/2 egg bagel sandwich with low-fat cream cheese & turkey thin slices on it. 1 med. banana... I was so full that I almost forgot I had to take more water to get my with meal vitamins down. I remembered though 2pm finally finished with the food.
3:40pm small apple. It was sitting there so I figured I should eat it. LOL
Dinner was lobster & regular pesto pasta, steamed canned spinach & 2 choc. PB mini bunnies.

Taking it over Thursday~4/21

Just updated my new Zumba schedule for May & Summer. Played some do-si-do with a few locations trying to find times that would work out good for them. I hope I've left myself enough travel time.... on Saturday in particular.
101241.zumba.com

Breakfast! Berry MRS & grape Spark, milked until sometime around 10:50am. Just not in a hurry or all that hungry. WoW, what a difference. Had I been doing this 3.5 mo. ago it would have been SNARFED breakfast & can't wait until noon when I've TOTALLY got to eat since my stomach would be griping, growling & throwing a fit.
Lunch was a spinach wrap from Lindy's with roast beef, turkey, Provolone, sprouts & guac on it.
Dinner~ chicken breast, stewed tomatoes, 1 serving canned spinach, buttery spread & 1 can of potatoes... yeah, a whole can.. totally had a craving for canned potatoes with butter spread & pleasoning, 1c. chic choc rice milk & 3 squares (1 serving) 72% dark choc.
No juice or L-glutamine as I didn't work out today.

Wanted Wednesday~4/20

WoW feeling way wanted this AM. Have 2 fitness centers contacting me to be a Zumba instructor... I am waiting for determining who wants me when. My poor NZH (Neglected Zumba Husband) will be disappointed I fear with the outcome.... but yet possibly thrilled when he sees the checks from Zumba & Advocare coming in. :)  You can ALWAYS check out my most recent Zumba activities at 101241.zumba.com

Breakfast~ Choc. MRS (for almost an hour) & orange Spark.
Lunch OCB (old country buffet) Yeah... the challenge of challenges! It was so EASY! I seriously had like 1 plate of food (most veggies & a few other items & was FULL!) SOOO happy! I felt a little sneaky pocketing a few CC cookies but PHHHFFTTT whatever! I didn't eat that much to begin with.
2.5 hours of Zumba activities. I wasn't hungry for dinner (still full from lunch) so I pulled a naughty & skipped dinner.

I took AdvoCare O2 45 min. before working out & I think it worked great & I noticed a difference in being able to breathe & not being out of breath as quickly. It was kinda like making Zumba easy to do that much. I also took Catalyst before working out.
Bedtime was nighttime recovery & my L-glutamine & 1 c. of juice before bed.

Tues 4/19~ guilty loser...

OK so final SNAP fitness weigh in -2.5lbs or about 1.89% of my body weight this week. Ok so I'm happy that the trend has amplified itself. I do happen to feel kinda guilty though. Nothing like having part of a mall pretzel & ColdStone Creamery (split) & Ciatti's (several nights split up) & oh yeah I'm sure a few other fast food places in there too.... AMAZED that I had a super good loss week even with all that packed in to the later part of my week. I feel kinda guilty actually. I won't go into details which would make not only me, but you drool.

Anyways~ Breakfast~ Choc MRS & 1/2 scoop mandarin orange Spark
Lunch... way delayed took pills at 11:40am long story short ate lunch at Hooters at 1pm. 8 boneless breaded spicy garlic chicken wings some bleu cheese dressing (positive not low cal or anything) & a pickle spear. The wings weren't that large so it's not like I overate or anything really.
3pm~ feeling still stuffed stupid...at least not feeling the greasy badness from the food police (usually its during cleanse that most people feel bad). I hope I'll be able to move more for my 30 min ZIC at Curves at 5:30pm tonight. They're still saying 6-8" of snow so hopefully it won't be cancelled.
It was cancelled due to the weather. :( It's ok a day of rest is good. 2.5 hours of Zumba tomorrow. I'll be trying a new AdvoCare product O2 from the performance elite line.  So we'll have to see how that goes. Will for SURE be using Nighttime recovery as well. just 18lbs. to go to be at my goal weight! I'll be switching over to the performance elite line then & energy lines that Advocare offers. :) I can't wait! I've been so impressed with everything that I've tried so far. With the seasonal support pills I've noticed a difference since it's my "off" week for not taking that. On the bottle it says for max effectiveness to be on 7-10 days & off 7-10 days & to cycle.
Dinner 8pm ~ 1.5 servings of mushroom risotto, 1 of stewed tomatoes, 1 of chicken , 1.5c. dark choc. almond milk 2 double stuft Oreos. .5c. juice & l glutamine.
Bedtime a little early tonight, but I've got some laundry to put away... amazing how that stuff never puts itself away on it's own. At least it's clean laundry. :)

Mon 4/18~ Who's tired & sore? NOT ME!

Ok, so after almost 3 hours of Zumba yesterday & nighttime recovery & staying up WAY late until about midnight on a work night. (which I'd never recommend) Guess who's tired & sore? NOT ME!

11am mid-morning snack~1 small banana
Noon~ 30 min prior to lunch pkt.
12:36pm Lunch~ 1/2 egg bagel with low fat CC & no fat turkey thin slices (about 4) & an apple. Got 1/2 way thru the bagel took a break to eat the apple & then was full.
2pm~ S'mores Luna 80cal. bar. not all that hungry but really craving choc. for some reason.
4:15pm 1 small banana
Catalyst~ 10 min prior
45 min Zumba with Jonathan. Lots of fun & a lower intensity workout than usual since I wasn't instructing it.
9pm dinner~ roasted chicken, stewed tomatoes & 1.5 ears of corn on the cob, 2 ~1" dark choc. chunks of choc. 1.5c. dark choc. almond milk.
Bedtime .5c juice & L-glutamine

Weekend 4/16~ 4/17

Ok so I had a reasonable amount of food this weekend some cheating. However, I am REALLY busy with  lately with people thru the 24 day challenges they're currently going thru. have a garden that needs to get planted & more. Went to Trader Joe's, shopping for smaller clothes (size small & size 6) & more. I did cheat & split a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream dish & fresh pretzel at the mall with hubby. Sushi for dinner on Saturday, home made burgers for lunch on Saturday & fresh salads galore. Hope that sums it up enough to get an idea. Not that I'd suggest all of my choices but wanted to give an idea that I'm human too & can't be good all of the time. MODERATION is the key! GTG have calls to make, Zumba to do & a garden to plant! Dinner was veggie cheese burgers on wheat buns & salads. Don't forget dark choc. almond milk & some juice both nights with my L-glutamine. Not to mention nighttime recovery on Sunday night too.

Fri 4/15~ up before the alarm

ok... so apparently sleeping in is no longer a possibility. Even getting to bed a little late. I feel GREAT when I wake up. I have the mental stigmata still going on saying... I can but my body says get your keister outta bed.
Breakfast Choc. MRS~ Grape Spark both were milked 'til I kid you not 11:30am. Not hungry.
Lunch 1pm~ 1/2 wheat Girf remaining from yesterday's lunch & avocado. Full. WoW that was like stupid easy. Water as always.
4:22pm 1 banana.
Dinner~ whole wheat bun, cheeseburger & salad 2 c. dark Choc. Almond milk.
.5c. juice & 1tsp L-glutamine

THU 4/14~ my stomach no longer appreciates sodium sticks...

woke up with the alarm. :) I also forgot to post yesterday that I officially have lost 40lbs! yeah, that's right I picked up the 20lb. pair o' dumbells & went WOAH... wow that's like crazy!
Ok so i'm not starting the day off eating right... I don't know what possessed me to go into KT (after filling up & spending WAY too much money on gas) I guess I figured I wanted some bananas & if they possibly had a chicken & bacon roller bite I'd get just 1 (sodium stick) I've seen the cal. count & all for them before not too bad, however like 90% of your daily intake for sodium for the day. :P then I was like pretty hungry when I got to work & tried to have a banana too. 9:45 my stomach has been putting up a fight going WTH did you feed me you crazy chic? I don't want this.... & you'd better hope that I don't have a full out revolt later today on you. The banana isn't going to work for a peace offering either... no way girlfriend! *side note in the past it was nearly a multi-weekly ritual to get about 2. Then it was 1... only 1 maybe 2 times a week in Oct. 2010 then it was only 1 once a month... I haven't had one in maybe over 3 mo. since starting Advocare? I'm pretty sure. I haven't had any of this since I'd started Advocare.
Not even a desire for it... pretty good seeing how i'd tried on my own to kick it numerous times & this is probably one of the longest I've not had it. Don't even want it either... so I'm sure it will continue.
Diet Mountain DON'T! Is total chemical badness to put into your body!

Well AdvoCare, my wonderful food police you have once again foiled my plot to eating crap I shouldn't be eating. I won't be doing that again... what's even better? It didn't even taste good... or not as good as I'd ever remembered it tasting. Now I'm not saying that it makes everything taste not as good anymore. But if I could at least get some of the bad food to taste like what it is "crappy" it has helped.
Lunch at Erberts & Gerberts~ 1/2 of a whole wheat Girf no mayo, guac instead. Lunch date with Amanda. Was nice to see her. Also, was nice to run in to another past Tribune co-worker briefly too.
Happy B-day to my Mother-in-law! Celebrating with Dinner at Ciatti's.... hubby will hopefully remember to bring some Leptilean® as I need help cutting down from snarfing super yummy gourmet Italian food. It's kinda like the AdvoCare SWAT team of food police. :)

Monday, April 11, 2011

Monday 4/11 spa night & SNAP weigh in.

.5 lost according to the lying SNAP scale. Not to mention abnormal AM weigh in there so  not surprised at all that it wasn't 1.5lbs lost... It would have been had I weighed in at night minimum. However, tonight is spa night which means massage & possibly infared sauna night. Which trumps a weigh in any day. Besides I'll probably get a better loss next week then when I weigh in at night again.

Breakfast 9:30-10:30~MRS & pink lemonade Spark thru mid morning..
Lunch~12:50pm My stomach hit the snooze button & I woke it up at 12:10pm by taking my 30 min prior pills... it then wacked the snooze again...until that time. 1 sl. leftover pizza from yesterday & 1 jumbo orange. full.
8pm dinner~ small NY strip steak, gnocchi & pesto mix from last night & salad with ranch & green olives (minimal as always) 3/4 scoop ice cream with 1 Tbs. fudge. 1.5c. dark choc. almond milk.

Sunday, April 10, 2011

Wknd 4/9~ 4/10 good news comes in black garbage bags.

Breakfast~MRS
Curves ZIC 2 33~min sessions weigh in 139.2 YES~~ finally now only under 140 but I've now lost 39 lbs.!
Lunch~ Grizzly's various appetizer platter (shared with hubby) way bad food & not even going to go there. I didn't pig out & ate a normal portion amount of food but very little veggies.
felt stuffed stupid. Went out & got my eyes checked & they hardly changed at all my 140 present to myself was to get more contacts (I was almost out) that & I got 2 t-shirts & a NEW rototiller on sale!
Orange Spark~ yeah it was later in the day but at the mixer it was a peer pressure thing. LOL
Dinner~ I kid you not 1 Advocare double choc. snack bar. It was yummy but I'd still have possibly wanted an MRS instead. I also had a giant orange. Wasn't that hungry after the lunch we'd had (it seriously wasn't that much food)
~Nighttime recovery~ I wasn't that sore in the AM but my body was saying that I'd possibly needed it the night before.

Sunday~ Breakfast~ 1.5c. Granola cereal (cherry choc.) & almond milk
2 hours of Zumba & Zumba Toning~ Bowlgame Berry SLAM beforehand. I didn't have time to Spark myself earlier & wanted a boost doing a 2 hour back to back teaching.
lunch 2 pieces of Domino's pizza green olives, mushrooms & beef. Salad with tomato, artichoke & avocado with basalmic dressing & a Domino's choc. lava cake.
No Aqua Zumba~ hubby said weather was too bad with tornado sirens going off & softball sized hail near where I would have been heading. It was too unpredictable so I had to miss. Hopefully the instructor will let me attend 1 more class but not expecting it.
supper~ 1 chick breast, gnocchi & vermacelli with a small amount of pesto & olive oil. Salad with 4 small green olives & small amount of ranch dressing. Berry Zero vitamin water. (sale item) I didn't like it much so glad I only got 1. Full so no dessert & really trying to limit it to just 1 a day or less.

Tried on clothes after supper from a person who wanted to donate clothes to GoodWill but also wanted to pass on some to me, as she knows how hard I've been working at losing weight & how rapidly I've been shrinking out of my work clothes. :) I tried on 6's 8's & 10's (all previously worn) & guess what??? THEY ALL FIT! So now I have clothes galore for fall & don't have to worry about work clothes for awhile. (or at least not as much) I passed on everything that didn't fit (was too big or long) or I didn't like the style of. I kept 3 might fit next week items too at this rate I can't hope not too. I've been getting down past where I'd been in SOOO long I almost don't have any pants in the 6-8 size range anymore. I just need some more workout ones (or do laundry more often)

FRI 4/8~ So happy to help people~ & I don't like jeans day anymore...

OK I officially hate jeans day....& it's mostly Advocare's fault. I almost was late to work since I pulled the jeans that fit me just hunky-dory fine last Friday out of the clean clothes basket & now they don't fit... I know totally sucks huh? It's not why you might think they don't fit....LOL
I'm going out during lunch & getting a belt out of my bag, as I feel like a gangsta pulling my pants up every 25 min. if I leave my desk. I almost lost my PJ bottoms out with the dogs this AM too. (Don't worry I was wearing a housecoat) So no free shows... This weekend if it has an "L" on it it's going away as they are the ones that are size "L" are just dropping off of me. Wearing high heels & jeans too. Apparently, casual Friday doesn't involve gym shoes. Guess I'll have to switch them out when I go walk to get lunch. E&G's coupons 50% off were great I get 2 lunches (since 1 sandwich lasts 2 meals) for like $2.50 with the paper coupon! paid .71 cents for a sandwich extra (2 meals mind you)

9:35am~ Choc. MRS ~LOVE them, but I know people are probably getting sick of hearing me say that.
Today it was challenging to drink. I'm just not hungry... which is totally becoming the norm. I still can't believe I used the word challenging & chocolate in the same sentence & it wasn't regarding eating like a TON of it or something...
But yet somehow disappointing, since I really do like them. Perhaps I might need to switch it up this weekend & go back on MNS 3 instead to see how it does. (3 is for wellness not mostly appetite control like "C") but I might wait another 14 days yet.... I wanted to possibly try "e" for energy but think that might just be a bit too much energy for during the week days, if I don't work it out of my system later on in the day.... not to mention my "e" got sold already, so I'd have to wait possibly a week to do that anyways unless I asked for an exchange from an uplink. I bought 4 btls of Catalyst on sale & split some shipping... I've got all but 1 of them already sold before they even come in...4 days from now.
12:15pm. Still not hungry but took my 30min pre-pills at noon.
1pm~ finally got around to eating 1/2 a wheat "Narmer" from E&G it was really good & filling, I'm full. I also had them take the mayo off of it since it has guac. on it too.
3:50pm~ Snack time of some cashews & some dried raspberries (not even a serving)
dinner~ Cheese burger single with 1Tbs. guac & 4 mac & cheese breaded baked bites. (Technically dessert really)

THU 4/7

Since I was running EARLY this AM. (which is getting much easier to do) now that the cold is removing it's unwanted germs from my body. I decided to try on a skirt that has NEVER fit me since I'd bought it about 5 years ago. It's a size.... 6! Yep, buttoned right up. tiny bit snug but not to the point that I can't breath sitting down at my desk.
9-10am Breakfast~Choc. MRS & 1/2 scoop grape Spark
12:30pm ~lunch 1/2 bun with remainder of fish/cheese leftovers from yesterday & mashed potatoes. Carb intake for today has been completed. LOL
2pm~ 120 cal. jello dessert 3pm still picking at same said cup. Apparently, I wasn't that hungry for a snack.
3pm~1/2 scoop Pink Lemonade Spark... We'll know later tonight if I'm going to regret doing it so late in the day. I didn't sleep all that well last night due to being a little achy.
6:15pm~ Worked out at SNAP on some machine that's a cross between a stair & ellipical machine for 15 min. It's NOT a stride machine but is exclusive to SNAP fitness ctrs. It really kicked my butt (but I let it) since I ramped it up & did a pretty good workout. I went & did some walking outside too a little later on didn't want to do too much since it was a relatively resting day for workouts for me.
grape rehydrate. I Sparked someone for tomorrow that I'd met at SNAP she seemed pretty nice I'd like to hang out with her more & got another RSVP to Amanda's mixer from a Zumba client. So it was going well... hopefully there will be enough chairs there for it. It's always nice to meet new people & is a great conversation starter too!
Dinner 8pm~ not really hungry had 1.5c. hamb. helper remix with all the extra veggies we usually add into the "helper".
Was 2 whole days behind on FB so I wasn't happy about that, I got caught up but didn't get to bed as early as I'd wanted too.
.5c. juice & tsp L-glutamine. Basically routine since I workout at least a little almost every day it seems.

WED 4/6~SNARF IT ALL!

Breakfast 1/2 of a non-Advocare MRS... the rest got pitched... once again if it doesn't taste good I'm not going to bother drinking it. I had some higher hopes as I'd been told that it tasted good.... I was wrong. about 70 cal.
was consumed. I didn't feel very full either afterwards.
Grape Spark.
Thank goodness for MNS "C" as lunch was at 12:20pm Red Lobster~ 1 cheddar biscut, I ordered the crunchy fish sandwich with tomatoes... WAIT.... before you go & say it was fried.... I took 1 of the fish patties w/ cheese off of it (they put 2 huge amounts on it) and top 1/2 of the bun off. I also put the mashed potatoes into the to-go box right away. so it was 1/2 the bun 1 fish patty w/ cheese, tomatoes & lettuce on it. The server was like... you want a box right away? Puzzled look on his face... I'm like when you get a chance. I felt like saying, "dude, I just spent 5 mo. getting fat off my body, I know I can't eat this all in 1 sitting anymore & TOTALLY know I shouldn't!"
Anyways, off to Curves & S N'S for 2.5 hours of Zumba!
5pm~MRS for dinner
Yes, I made it thru 2.5 hours of Zumba... man was I beat.
.5c juice with L-glutamine for bed time.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Tues 4/5~ what fun a dentist day!

ok so my whole AM was totally out of schedule. My AM dentist appt. ran way late. Good news is that my blood pressure DRAMATICALLY dropped. Amazing what dropping 38lbs. will do for that...
10:45am~ choc. MRS for super late breakfast.
12:50pm~ lunch spinach wrap with 98% fat free turkey, 1 slice colby cheese & guac., 1 ~120 cal. dark choc. mousse cup & 1 clementine (some wasn't sweet & I threw a segment out).
Thinking about a snack 4:30pm might have a few dried raspberries.
Zumba in the circuit 30 min. Curves of Onalaska. (forgot to take my Catalyst) I'm TOTALLY taking it tomorrow!
7:30pm some guac. & guac. organic naturals chips. not many like 1 serving.
8:10pm Dinner 1.5 c. hamburger helper made with almond milk, 1.5c. drk choc. almond milk. peas & green beans & some ice cream therapy. (only 1 serving) I feel horrible afterwards... It tasted really good & luckily my hubby was there to stop me. Emotional eating it I think, not very sure. Still kinda miffed I only lost like 1-1.5 lbs. this week but  I can't trust that dumb scale anyways & it wasn't a gain week & I'd done a TON of Zumba Toning the past week... I dunno perhaps it's time for bed. I don't like people poking at my gums either & the cold did feel good.  Some issues came up today at work that kinda stressed me out, but don't really want to talk much about. (it wasn't about the Advocare job issues or anything).  I ate too much food again... I should have stopped before dessert or something again.
1/2 c. juice & 1tbs. L-glutamine.
