THU 3/31~ & that is all she wanted really?

So last night at about 11pm guess who started yowling at the top of her lungs for hours on end? ~Gina... at 2:30am hubby said if that dog doesn't shut up soon she's going to go back to the Midwest Pug Rescue MN, as she'd really been cutting into our sleep during the week now. REALLY  REALLY makes me rethink even wanting to have a kid since Gina isn't even 1/2 as annoying yowling as a baby would be.
So at 2:30am we both got up & sacrificed Madge our pug to Gina. Madge had been comfortably sleeping in the dining room in her kennel & was like *whine* can't you get her to shut up? She was cutting into Madge's sleep as well. Moving Madge back into the mud room resolved the problem 100%. Now we just have the fear that Madge will eat Gina's poo now & the vet STILL hasn't gotten the results back yet from Tuesday 9am. It's ok, as if she did have something she'd already been wormed partially on Tues & it might not be as bad. They are like best buds so hopefully Gina will pick up on going potty outside soon watching her big foster sis do it outside.
Breakfast 9:30am~vanilla MRS in my new shaker bottle with wire wisk ball. Worked AWESOME. as I'd had some problems with that flavor dissolving completely. Now resolved. Grape Spark.
Snack 11:45pm ~ 1 serving cashews & 1 of dried raspberries.
1pm lunch~ 1HB egg, 1 clementine, 1 choc. pudding/mousse 120 cal. snack. 15 carrots & salmon dip.
Tried this Ocean Spray Cran-grape 5 cal. drink mix... my stomach isn't settling nice. Must be the red 40 or something in it. I don't think it's the carrots & dip...

5:30pm~ grape Rehydrate~ Catalyst (15 min prior) 55 min. of Zumba at SNAP Fitness Bluffside.Didn't take anything else stomach still hadn't been feeling the best... figured it would be good to hold off, ok I forgot... but seriously with like 3 hours of sleep... I felt I was functioning pretty good. Looks like I got 2nd place for week 4 in the biggest loser... but there is no prize or recognition for 2nd place... Looks like I need to be good as I also missed my weight goal of losing 10 lbs. this month by 1.2lbs. I've currently lost 7.9% of my body weight in about 5 months. I'd not thought of doing a % until a person doing WW mentioned it.

Dinner~ 8:30pm 1 serving leftover chicken, .75 c. rice & tomatoes, 2c. salad with some green olives & Italian dressing.
I was full... so I'm like well there is lunch for tomorrow.
Near bedtime~.5c low cal. juice with 1tsp. L-glutamine.

WED 3/30~

9:30Am Choc. MRS...oh yeah... MMMMM & grape Spark until 12:30pm.
Lunch 12:30pm low cal. tomato/basil wrap with rice "non-cheese", 3 thin slices organic roast beef & Tbs of guac. & 1 clementine.
Personally, would have rather had a 2nd MRS... which is a horrible for me to be saying since real food is what they recommend eating. Perhaps the last week of the SNAP biggest loser I might do it... but seriously... MAN those shakes are not only yummy & good for you but also filling too.
3:45pm toying with the idea of a snack... will go for the carrots & salmon dip in the fridge. Not very hungry but should have something since 9pm could be my anticipated dinner time tonight which is too long to wait really. Nibbled on them until 4:15pm. All done stopped all by myself & no mindless eating. :) I had about 10 baby carrots.
Catalyst & Rehydrate for SURE since I have 30 min of Zumba in the Circuit at Curves Holmen followed by 1 hour of Zumba Toning at Shake N' Shed followed by ANOTHER hour of regular Zumba too! I doubt anyone's going to come to the 7:15pm but you never know...
ok so about 1.5 hours of Zumba at Shed happened someone did show up late for the 1st part & left early So it worked out well. Ended up doing all Toning so now my obliques are sore again. .75 scoop grape Rehydrate.
Grocery shopping at Woodman's afterwards to do my quick lap o' the store in search of sale items to pick up some fresh stuff & see what's all on super deep discounts right now & found some good lettuce & more for only .99 a bag & inlcluded Italian dressing for the hubby too! I don't really have the "hungry shopping" as my stomach isn't NEARLY as growly & my self control/will power has improved 90% from what it had been
Dinner 9:15pm ~left over chicken, rice & tomatoes & lettuce with Italian dressing on it & a few green olives. 1c. chai choc. milk, 1 scoop choc. brownie ice cream & 1Tbs caramel.... Hey when I do 2 hours of working out I feel like I can splurge on a few days. I know I'd lose weight faster if I didn't, but there's becoming less & less foods/drinks that taste as good.
& .5c juice with L-glutamin tsp. in it later on.

Tues 3/29 What a day

OK, so lots of dogginess going on. Gina (our foster pug apparently) thinks the appropriate time for 2 nights in a row is to yowl from 11pm-3:30am. I am not  questioning my desire to become a parent possibly next spring. WoW with only 2 days of lack of sleep after 3 weeks of not great sleep having been sick I'm like how do people do this for like 6 mo. with a baby??? That & apparently our dog went to doggy-daycare at 1 of my bosses wife's house & pooped on their rug again. He asked me if I trained the dog to do this, or fed it chili or something.
Dog tired, today pun intended. Did manage to get Gina to the vet & she's pretty much all cleared with health.
9:30am choc. MRS followed by a much needed 11am grape Spark 1/2 serving.
Lunch~ low fat tomato wrap with 2 thin slices of organic roast beef,1 slice of rice cheese & 1 Tbs. guac.
2pm snack~ 1 clementine
4pm~ 1 small amount of sea salt natural cashews & another .5 serving of grape Spark. I hope i'm not doing it too late in the day for me but I really needed it. Not a substitute for sleep but I still have to make it thru
30 min. Zumba in the Circuit at Curves Onalaska (instructing so basically 30 min Zumba)
WoW am I sore from 1.5 hours of Zumba Toning yesterday. :( The sides of my abs in particular ache.
8pm~ dinner leg & partial thigh of rotissarie chicken, 2c. salad with French dressing, HB egg & 6 olives. .5c. rice & tomato. 1.25c. dark choc. almond milk. 1 scoop choc. ice cream & 1 Tbs. caramel (yes, there is still more left but I felt I needed it tonight.)
 .5 c. low cal. grape juice & 1 tsp. L-glutamine

Sun & Mon 3/27 & 3/28 Biggest Loser again?

ok so since i'm behind, I'll try to make this quick.
Sun.  I was up EARLY as the mill pug was yowling which got Madge our pug yowling most of the late AM at least she sleeps in until about 6:30am. After that I was able to sleep in until about 9am.
11am~ no cheese dairyless blintzes  YUMMY! with a bit of strawberry preserves on it. (2) low-fat maple turkey sausage links (2) Bio-charge to drink (baby boomers) energy drink I had to taste it as if it tasted bad I couldn't possibly recommend it right? Tasted like blackberry tea. Personally, I think Oasis was better tasting if your going to go that route but it's what works that really matters. It did. No nappy time for me or even the desire too. 3pm (Yeah, I forgot to eat that long into the day) Chicken breast marinaded & .5c. Trader Joe's sweet potato gnocchi. 2 pieces of dark choc. almost gone... & guess who ISN'T the one hitting it hard... ME! Left my green beans in the nuker & had to put it in the fridge as I was running late for 45 min. Aqua Zumba & kept forgetting I was supposed to be eating lunch. Dinner 8:20pm~ Slow cooker rice .75c & frozen tomatoes & 1 serving beef brisket (fat cut off) 2c. dark choc. almond milk, Rehydrate later on & pure glutamine. 1 tbs. caramel & 1 scoop ice cream. It wasn't a Mon, Wed, Fri or Sat. so I'm like OK I deserve this after my Aqua Zumba tonight.
Midnight~ Poor Gina pug is yowling for love & attention... good thing there's closed doors & I sleep with a blanket over my head. You'd think having lived in an Amish barn your whole life you'd go to sleep if it was dark? I just feel so bad & mad that someone could do something like that to such a cute & sweet animal.
MON~ 3/28 Weigh in is tonight at SNAP lets see if i'm a big loser again. ;) AM~ Grape spark, choc. MRS. Lunch 4 TJ's salmon & spinach crepes & 2 clementines. Late afternoon snack 4:15pm Berry Protein Shake (Nutrilite brand) we'll see how that tastes later on tonight. It was acceptable but not as good as the choc. Advocare shakes or even the berry (comparing apples to apples)
5:20 Tan & weigh in at SNAP
6:15pm Zumba Toning at Shake N' Shed
7:15pm hope that people come to my 6:15pm instead as there is a
HUGE Advocare mtg. tonight at 7:27pm in the big mtg. room at Stoney Creek Inn. VP of sales from TX will be there giving a lecture! He's the one responsible for getting most of the NFL teams interested in Advocare. Marketing & business promotion is just right up my alley being a FT graphic designer. Of course when I for once don't want anyone to show up there will be just TONS. Reaping from the nagging on FB to come join me! Don't forget to get in YOUR workout today. It's 1 of those "Lifestyle" tools that's just as important to do! Caught the tail end of the mtg. ended up doing about 1.5 hours of Zumba Toning.  I had a little bit of gnocchi & something else but now I don't remember. It wasn't a whole lot of food at all & 1 dark choc. was in there somewhere today after I got home.
I almost forgot... SNAP weigh in was 3lbs lost for the week. At the time I was AGAIN for the 2nd week in a row possibly going to be the biggest loser.

FRI 3/25

Ok, awesome I forgot my MRS & my additional added on vitamins (I'll take those with supper) I did remember my strip... yeah NP. My routine was thrown off by adding in 1 Thermoplus to my pre-breakfast vitamins. I've got some low fat/low sugar Luna women's 2 mini bars (160 total) & 1 Quaker mint choc. granola bar (80) 1/2 scoop grape Spark (I'm always 1/2 scoop Spark as a full one would get me beat up at work i'm sure for being super chirpy & happy).  Not everyone wants to have a Sparktastic day apparently... working on getting a few of the AM Dt. Mt. Dewer's to try it but they like the soda taste. Being a reformed Dewer I say I don't miss it at all & would probably feel ill if I had that crap again.
Not as good as an MRS but not bad. Lunch 12:50pm I almost forgot to take my prepills before I was actually thinking about eating again. 1 HB egg plain (85), 10 baby carrots & minimal salmon dip (yep still the same container of dip & carrots) & remaining 1/2 of that Bear Naked brand granola bar (115 cal.)
4pm~ 1 small banana.
Hoping someone might possibly show up to do Zumba Toning at Shake N' Shed but not holding my breath as they haven't had ANYONE show up for the past 4 weeks for the 6:30pm class. I don't know why I have the late night classes or why there aren't more late night exercisers. I had 1 person stay for 40 min for the class as they had already done 1 hour previously so that was good.
8:45pm Thermoplus
9:15pm Dinner ~ 1/4 lb. burger, cheese slice, K&M, 1Tbs. guac. on a wheat bun, 5 seasoned French fries (not  jumbo sized fries or anything) 2.5c. lettuce salad with 4 Tbs. mango fresh salsa, 10 baby cherry tomatoes & that no cal., no nothing dressing. Holy crud butt i'm stuffed stupid go figure that was like 10 min after I finished I figured it out I ate too much.  2c. dark choc. almond milk & 1tsp. glutamine before bed.
10:15pm Stupid salad... I should have known better or should have taken leptilean since it was so late & I was reasonably hungry (as I should be at that time) but don't know why I still struggle to eat a reasonable amount of food.
Really hoping to see 141 or even possibly 140 on the scale tomorrow AM... that would put me almost a whole week ahead of schedule of my unreasonable goals.

WoW I'm like the BIGGEST LOSER!!!!

WoW! tonight really caught me off guard. I thought 1 of my teammates for Biggest Loser was bluffing me or let me know I was the biggest loser on our team this week losing 2.5lbs.... NOOOO I was the BIGGEST LOSER for ALL WEEK at  Snap Fitness - Bluffside They go by biggest % lost not lbs. lost.  I weighed my self tonight again & am WELL on my way to possibly being even a BIGGER loser next week dropping 5lbs ALREADY SINCE MONDAY going from 150-145 tonight on the SNAP scale! Take that you horrible Monday night scale of lyingness! Also, I'd like to say I wasn't expecting to lose anything this week & was actually bracing for a gain or zero week.
Too bad there isn't an acceptance speech for being a biggest loser as I'd like to thank Advocare, Amanda, Kim, Pam & my husband who knows how hard I've been trying to lose weight for years & is happy that I'm happy that I've finally found a way to break the cycle. I'd also like to thank my Zumba employers for supporting me & believing that even though I was pretty overweight when I started. They still saw thru that & there was a skinny person in there somewhere with the energy to fight themselves out again. I'd like to thank Beto for putting cool dance moves & creating Zumba Fitness so in just possibly a few more short months. (or maybe even sooner) I'll be able to show off my Zumba 6 pack abs that are truly under there already & are just a quick suck-in away from shadowing out.

THURS 3/24 Why Advocare is a "Lifestyle" toolnot a "Diet"...

So, just a reminder that i've been taking my "C" vitamin supplements strip packets daily. They have been making me feel great & stay motivated. I've also added in additional vitamins as well. Advocare Amplify AT, an extra C (trying to kill this cold will stop taking next week), 1 calcium/D & 1 extra Omegaplex ("3" set had 2 in there so why not "C" only has 1 & doesn't include the Amplify AT or calcium it's got other more appetite control vitamins in there instead) For those of us who have like NILCH for will power & assisting tool being like a "super cape" with changing to be a LIFESTYLE change not a diet.
The beauty of Advocare is the fact that it is ISN'T a fad diet it's a lifestyle changing tool that assists you thru the most difficult & crappy part of weight loss. (should that be the line you choose to start with) Adjusting to eating "normal" portions of healthy/cleaner food. America in general is so Super-size this, Mega-up, AUC2D that, which is why people get morbidly obese. Crappy food well makes us feel crappy & less energized but most don't realize it or rapidly spiral into it & snap your fat in only a few years. Or you try to work it off like a crazy person, thus making you hungrier & eating more which only leads to the vicious cycle I'd been on for almost 6 years now. Adjusting to your stomach physically shrinking as well. I really wish someone would have introduced me to the products sooner, I might not have been a whining, crabby, moaning I'm hungry every 10 min. for 2 weeks long person in November. I was so fed up I was thinking about how awesome it would be
if I could just get my stomach instantly shrunk by the band... or about trying "ALLI" which is FDA approved & my biggest personal joke now is how INSANE  that would have been since right on the side of the box is says "may cause anal leakage"  I mean seriously who in their right mind would take something that says that right on the box???
it was SO hard to just stop eating too much food & the cravings were ALWAYS so horrible when I didn't. NOT ANYMORE, it's actually getting EASIER to lose the weight & dump my relationship with food. This is me saying this LESS than 2 months after using some of the products. I assure you after 3 months of trying to do it on my own I wasn't saying crud about it getting easier.
Being on the product has made me & my body feel good & given me result time cut in 1/2 from what I had been doing & has been making the temptations easier to avoid. I'd read today someone "generally speaking about the products, not me in particular" was like, "well if you go off the products, you'll gain it all back." My ? is WHY would I want to stop taking the products to begin with? Usually, if your on  vitamins you don't usually stop taking them... unless your like the old me.
Before last summer I had no faith or desire to WASTE my $$ on expensive pee when there are so many more important things like ice cream or a gym membership etc. to be spending it on. The truth is that nutrients & vitamins are the missing link. You can eat healthy all you want, drink tons of water, exercise your butt off but you'll still be missing some vitamins & supplements that CAN NOT be reproduced by just food or recreated by your body in amounts it needs. This was only proven to me last summer when I'd started taking a B complex again. Sure I'd take "C" when I thought I was getting sick or on occasion find a really good deal on some multivitamins but NEVER, paid to take them on a regular basis until the B-complex which truly did work & help. That's what's also in the Advocare vitamins. But these have worked even better. My mom always gave me vitamins as a kid. Hated them, but I guess they worked. However, I never felt them (or seen them) working like I do these products. Other than the Shaklee laundry detergent which was before a bunch of brands ever made Free & Clear kept my bum from breaking out.  I mean your supposed to be taking your vitamins like your mom says every day from young until you die. So might as well make the best & use the best, right? My favorite line on pretty much everything that I've used from hockey products to all kinds of stuff that you can't replace if it gets broken, like your brain or your body... I don't think they have body transplants yet. Much like brain transplants which is why you need a good hockey helmet cuz brain damage sucks. Good stuff isn't cheap, & cheap stuff isn't good.
However, with Advocare they know that which is why they have the business end of becoming a distributor or advisor & have done a GREAT job of removing all of the crappy stuff that sometimes turns everyone off saying you have to make a $200 purchase EVERY month etc. NO minimums to buy a month. Although, once you start taking the products you'll want to get more because they work, they taste good & are good for you! You can RETURN products that are unopened or exchange them for something else for an entire YEAR later! I'm not sure why anyone would want to/or need to do this. I can't keep stuff I'm ordering in only 1 mo. after starting for myself, before I end up selling it to someone. I wish I would have just put the advisor order in right away. I know I'm going to get "I told you so" comments. But I wasn't convinced they would work. I mean seriously skeptical of the whole thing that it would even work or I'd notice ANY difference in my weight loss from what I'd currently been doing the previous 3 months I'd been already dieting during. I'd been on vitamins in my childhood & didn't think they were doing a darn thing. I'd been doing everything right... right?
Well just 1 month later. I'm already at Advisor. I'm getting checks from Advocare.
Guess what.... by the end of the month. My 24 day challenge & lots of stuff that I've bought for me & my husband will have been FREE... yes FREE. I have people coming up to me before & after classes asking what i'm doing. I've got legs of distributors signing up making Advisor & overrides starting to come in. I've been sick for almost 3 weeks with this cough, but have felt GREAT despite the annoyance of it! Why? Because of the Advocare products. (I was sick & caught 2 different viruses at work last year for almost 8 weeks) Everyone's sick at work so it's not like anyone really avoided it.

Advocare makes supplements for EVERYONE:
• Trimming line (my main goal right now)
• Active for those that are looking for more energy to stay functioning at a high level working out etc.
• Well (they have wellness stuff for EVERYONE in every stage of life (from kids thru your grandparents)
• Performance Elite (NFL, NHL, Olympic weight trainers, personal trainers, aspiring athletes etc.)
NONE of which are paid endorsers Advocare doesn't pay their endorsers, included are Drew Brees, Green Bay Packers players, Olympic gold medalists, NHL players & I could go ON & ON about it)

• Definite Difference (skin care & sunscreen products) I haven't used any of these yet but I've never been huge on the whole skin care stuff. That & Amplify AT is doing a pretty darn good job of keeping zits away lately which was also somewhat of a problem I had before being on the products too) I still have some, but with as much as I sweat I'm not at all surprised.

Also, with the lifestyle changes already pretty darn close to habits anyways, why would I want to go back to eating crappy food & feeling crappy?

Ok, so will power is at it's least yesterday & these next 2 days... & what happens? Super duper nummy choc. chip homebaked cookies are sitting on the granite counter of goodness at work. Which is where they put all of the super yummy foods that come in I need to avoid. Lately there hasn't been as many or they have been not as tempting or even not tasting as good as they used to so MUCH easier to avoid. I'm TOTALLY cutting up & bringing fruit & fiber bars Monday to combat this unfairness.
9:25am 1 choc. chip cookie (I'm hoping that by avoiding going up front it will be the only one)
9:35am MNS & 10am grape Spark
12:35 found my inspiration for not feeling very hungry. Which caused the mass amounts of info above... I won't go into it unless you ask.
.5 cup of the E&G tomato soup leftover but realized it afterwards.... also had realized that I wasn't that hungry & I didn't take my pills. forgot to take my 30 min prepills. did now at 1:15pm.
2:10pm keep forgetting to eat & getting busy. 1/2 bear naked grain-ola bar. 115 cal.
2:50pm HB egg plain although I'd really like salt or paprika on it. I have neither here, good thing as the salt cravings are mega high.. not food, just salt. Like I need a salt lick.... or something. Nothing unusual or abnormal for me. What is abnormal is the fact that i'm not very hungry at all today. But is to be expected with the vitamins that i'm taking, which are clearly assisting.
4:30pm salt craving has passed...all on it's own, salt licks are scarce here at work anyways. Thinking about a banana for a snack or possibly a clementine, but amazingly not all that hungry... I guess I should stop being amazed so easily anymore. Unless it's looking in the mirror & thinking WoW in possibly another month I'll be able to see my 6 pack without sucking in. :)
Didn't have that snack. Catalyst 1 hour Zumba at SNAP & grape Rehydrate.
9:30pm dinner I really should have eaten sooner but the Mac sucked me in. 1.5 c. Trader Joe's portabella pasta with added vermacelli (yeah, I know not whole wheat but I'm not throwing out stuff)
2.5c arugula lettuce with 3 small green olives, part of a HB  egg  the whites, (hubby got the rest of the yolks & whites) & some 1000 island no cal, no fat, no nothing dressing. It also had no flavor... but heck I don't know to expect anything else with those kind of claims on the bottle to have anything but that for taste.
11:50pm .5 c. dark choc. almond milk 1tsp glutamine.

Wed 3/23~ holy poo where did the day go?

Sorry so brief as it's getting late. Finally starting to get better. MRS & grape Spark
Lunch 12:15pm Famous Dave's Citrus dishes, 2 citrus blackened shrimp skewers  (I know kinda naughty I guess shrimp aren't the best choice) pineapple & broccoli (I gave some of that to Amanda & she gave me some pineapple. FREE 1 Month pass at SNAP with the citrus grill dish! I'll pass it on to someone who deserves it & could use it since I already have a membership should I feel the desire to use it. (once this cough finally completely removes itself I just might)
5:25pm Catalyst
5:30pm ZIC at Curves Holmen
6:10pm snack 1 banana
6:20pm grape Rehydrate & 45 min DVD of Zumba Toning (no one showed up for the 6:15 or 7:15pm classes). :(
Quick sale circuit at Woodman's found a few items on sale that were too good to pass up.
8:20pm predinner munchfest... 1 steak flavored potato chip (didn't care for it), 2 crisps of Quaker Delights multigrain fiber crisps blackberry/ pomegranate flavor. Don't let these fool you into thinking they are ANYTHING healthy ingredient #2 is sugar... YES sugar... I ate 1 then 1 more & went ummm this tastes FAR too good to be anything healthy. Looked at the ingredients & YUP was correct. Ingenious Woodman's putting this in the healthy food/organic food section. :P
8:36 dinner discounted Mahi-Mahi... yes it was intensely delicious steamed with a bit of no fat lemon/buttery marinade, French cut green beans pat of buttery spread & 1 med. baked potato with buttery spread & low fat sour cream. Husband didn't like the fish. More for me.... 1c. dark choc. almond milk 2 pieces of dark choc. 1 with raspberry cream center & the other with choc. something in it.
11:15pm bed lemonade with glutamine.
I don't think I missed anything but I'm pretty sure I got it all.

Tues~3/22

9:30-MRS ~vanilla
10-11am grape Spark
12:30pm  .5 of a wheat E&G "Narmer" sandwich &
1:15pm~ .5 of a cup of their tomato & mushroom soup. They decided to put yucky green peppers in it... it was mostly tomato & green pepper soup. :P I will be not getting that again. Put it away since I was starting to "pick" at it which means i'm full & it needs to go away from me, that & it was getting cold.
2:25pm Antioxidant juice, berry flavored Nutrilite (an Amway brand product) 120 cal. not convinced that it was worth the cal. count... But did taste good & no artificial pretty much everything in it. So at least it was convincingly healthy & a different alternative to the routine.
Since I will be having this unusual schedule tonight of 5:30pm 30 min. ZIC at Curves in Onalaska, followed by 45 min. of belly dance at Shake N' Shed, followed by an Advocare mixer meeting to talk to some more people about it that are interested & get mentioned about my 24 day challenge, making Advisor last week & I'm sure much more, it's also a group fist bump mtg. which is always good for the self-esteem & ego. I figured I'd better go since I missed the last 2. Packing some dinner for me too ~ .5 remaining sandwich (threw out most of the guts & remaining crust of sandwich  it was a little dry & .75 serving of sea-salt naturals big cashews. Feeling pretty good as I apparently slept straight thru a huge thunderstorm & actually got a decent night of sleep after the coughing settled down. Took it slow getting home as I wasn't quite sure how to drive other than slower thru an ice flow on the roads it literally was an ice river. Not liquid, not ice.
11pm bed. I'm going to try it without cough stuff tonight. I think it might be going away finally.

Monday, March 21, 2011

Monday 3/21

8:20am prepills
9:25am choc. shake & grape Spark.
10am ~1 banana
11am still drinking same Spark.
11:10~ 1 more banana, I seem to be hungry today, I am unsure as to why.
12:15pm~lunch .75c crab/lobster bake leftover from Red Lobster (yes cheese & some breading was involved)1 cheddar biscut. My wedding set is spinning around again as I'm typing this... awesome I just took it down an entire size last month. I'm going to wait until it starts doing it a lot more again before I send it in again. Kay jewlers is going to regret selling the hubby the gold warranty which allows you to get it resized for FREE. I hope it's not every 6 mo. or something though, as that would stink.
During lunch I was also pondering other deep thoughts while eating... I was getting stretch marks galore up until Feb. I haven't had a single one show up in Feb./ Mar. & dropped 18lbs. during that time. I dropped 16lbs in Nov.-Jan. & had stretch marks showing up all over... they're now disappearing. Not kidding, literally vanishing. Can anyone say Advocare? Not sure which product is doing it but seriously haven't had a single new mark show up.
1:30 1 banana & my lunch vitamins... oops... well there's food in my stomach & the banana will help too. I should have brought other fruits today besides just bananas. They were all small bananas so I guess it's not that bad.
2:15pm 4 carrots & salmon dip

6pm~Catalyst & some grape Rehydrate 20oz
6:18-8:18pm 2 hours Zumba 1 of Zumba Toning followed by 1 of regular.
1 of the ladies that stayed for both 2 hours of Zumba asked me before class started saying that I looked really familiar & she couldn't put her finger on it. She asked me if I'd had my hair cut like 6+ months ago & lost a bunch of weight? I was like yes I used to come to Zumba & I had gotten my hair cut & dropped like almost 36+ lbs. now in 4.5 months. She was just amazed & I think was a little embarrassed. It really did make me feel good though that people who haven't seen me often or in several months don't even recognize me anymore... I guess that's just testament to how much look wise losing the weight I must have changed.
9pm dinner 3 Trader Joe's salmon & spinach crepes (3 is a serving according to the package 220 cal) they're kinda small taco shaped & were really yummy.  2c. mixed greens organic salad with 1tbs. French dressing 2 bleu cheese stuffed green olives they were really big olives (100 cal. total) They are now officially gone & never to be bought again.  2c. dark choc. almond milk
I couldn't help it but I had dessert 1 piece dark choc. raspberry caramel & 1 piece dark choc. truffle. They weren't very big pieces. I felt I totally deserved it after my weigh in at SNAP & losing another 2.5lbs since last Monday.
10:15pm 5oz. organic lemonade with 1tsp. pure glutamine. (main ingredient in Catalyst)
10:35pm 2tsp. generic Nyquil (REALLY hoping this is the last night for that)

Sunday 3/20

Woke up late as still trying to get more sleep to kick this cold.
10:50am breakfast 1c. organic granola & .25 c. almond milk.
12:15~ 1 banana
12:39 pink lemonade Spark (I should have taken this earlier in the day as it really works well on me)
12:50pm choc. meal replacement shake (always mixed with water) It tastes great just with that so why add more expenses?
4:30pm Leptilean
5:30pm dinner 1 skewer of smaller shrimp, approx. 8, 1 med baked potato with butter 1 tsp. & 1tsp. sour cream (doubt it was lo-cal) 2 c. organic salad with 1 TBS. French dressing & 5 green olives. 1 scoop choc. brownie ice cream & 1 TBS. caramel. (I really have to get this stuff out of the house)

SAT 3/19

8:10am Breakfast was an Advocare fruit & fiber bar after session 1 & a banana after session 2
Curves 30 min sessions (Onalaska & Holmen)
weighed in at 145.2 with clothes on! So it would have been less but I didn't need to change or have time to. But I don't get too hung up in #'s anyways, so it was what I wanted to see so who cares really. Walked the dog for 15 min. (I'll take her out later today too).
12:40pm Lunch was partially healthy. 1 grilled cheese sand. 1 slice cheese on white bread... yeah I know... I figured it'd be my "dessert" for the day. 2c. organic lettuce salad with 1 tbs. French dressing, 5 olives. I tried the Advocare bowl game berry SLAM mixed in with my water & it tasted good. I was pretty hungry before lunch. I usually need to be the one to suggest lunch & the time as my husband could pretty much go all day without even thinking of food, or even thinking to bother to eat. What's really disturbing sometimes is the fact that I take Advocare to help me forget about food & that helps, but my stomach still reminds me at some point to eat. His never does.... ever.
1pm~Advocare Berry SLAM. hubby had one 2 & turned us into spring cleaning machines.
5:45pm not too hungry but lunch was a bit later than usual.
6:40pm~ going to try the Advocare Leptilean (1) I should be eating in about 45min. Out so I don't want to overeat & we'll see how that goes.
7:20pm Dinner at Red Lobster ~ I made some good choices but hey we can't make them all right. the Leptilean I think worked a bit better than the Thermoplus does during lunch. I'm not sure that or my self control as I didn't eat too much to be stuffed stupid as normal. It was nice to not have that feeling & still feel like I could stop myself. I didn't feel "STARVED" like I think I normally would have waiting for the food. I had a garden salad well kinda. I ate just the lettuce & tomatoes I put about 2tsp. of basalmic dressing on it. I had 2 of the cheddar biscuits. These of course are HORRIBLE as I know for cal. count. I had my small lobster tail 2 skewered smaller sized shrimp. 2 bites of shrimp/lobster bake & my 4 pieces of steamed broccoli. I did dip the lobster in the melted butter so that also wasn't very good either. But that was it. I looked at the desserts but that was it. Just the photos as I didn't feel hungry & left a good 2 meals worth of food to come home too. 10 shrimp, 95% of the bake & the baked potato (they subbed that for the deep fried potatoes thank goodness) to take home.
10pm still comfortably full & no overeating pains, I'm so glad I took it or it could have ended very badly as my stomach would have clawed & growled before dinner & I'm sure I would have overeaten & ate even more than I had.

FRI 3/18

8:20am prepills & 8:30 Dayquil
9:15am choc. shake & grape Spark.
11:45am still drinking same Spark. Man I can't ditch this Nyquil hangover I feel like the stupid fairy has beat me this AM. I however slept pretty darn good last night with minimal coughing about 5:20am & then until 7:45am. Really thinking I should write into Advocare to see if they can make some new products like cough drops & syrup in the future. I totally would buy that.
Noon- prepills
12:26 my stomach is actually growling at me, I'm possibly surprised. Guessing I haven't drank a lot of water this am is the reason.
12:40pm lunch slightly less than 1/2 pt. of fresh blackberries
1 single serve of Yoplait French vanilla yogurt 99% fat free. (I'm fearing with the dairy I'll regret that later) Smoked salmon dip (minimal as always about 1.5 tbs) & fresh carrots (8-10?). 3 naturals cough drops (so far today 15 cal. each).
2pm stomach is grumbly. Not in the hungry way that I would expect from not eating all that much but the Oh REALLY? You fed me dairy grumbly... I guess that might be something I REALLY will have to limit in the future. I didn't think  6 oz. wouldn't do anything.... might have possibly have been the berries but there were a few questionable ones (I threw them out & didn't eat them).
3:45pm stomach still iffy. 20 small grapes.
got in about 10 min. Zumba & stretch at SNAP, tan & then went to S N'S but no one wanted (or could) stay for Zumba Toning... I'm telling you that 6:30pm class could be a private session almost EVERY time it seems.
8pm~ cheeseburger 1/4 lb. with 1 sl. specialty cheese on it, whole wheat bun, small amount of K&M, guac & mango salsa on it. 12 seasoned baked french fries (not super big kind), & 1 scoop choc. icecream with 1tbs. caramel. I once again don't know why the dessert as I wasn't hungry. Not only that weigh in day is tomorrow so watch that won't get me to just under 145 in the AM.
1 more cough drop & Nyquil. I'm still hacking more than ever it seems... I'm so sick of having this dang cough. I'm just glad I at least feel good or I'd be even more upset.
10:30pm goodnight... lets see if I can stay in my bedroom tonight or if I'll end up in the guest bedroom again tonight. :(

THU~3/17 luck o' the Irish

Happy St. Pat's day. 9:15am choc. shake & didn't savor it as much this AM so I could hurry up & take my Dayquil. (which isn't working worth a crap anyways) & grape Spark. Thank goodness that the products work so good because if I had a cough & felt like crap, now that would really stink. I'm just miffed I paid $8 bucks for a tiny bottle of crap that doesn't work & isn't taking care of my cough & tastes like crap too.
Last minute Lunch~ Zumba 50 min session of course after I took my 30 min pre-lunch pills. 12:03pm
grape Rehydrate & a tiny bit of grape Spark, yummy.
1:50 lunch (finally)~ remainder of leftover pork (less than 1 serving), 3 carrots, .5 small potato slowcooker meal with a bit of the blackberry chipolte sauces on it. What's suprising is the fact that I wasn't horribly growling hungry like my stomach always had been in the past.
2:35pm still munching away on lunch kinda 5 carrots & minimal salmon dip.
4:30pm very mildly hungry for a snack.
5:15pm~ Catalyst 5:45pm Zumba Toning (I seriously had 1 person for my class today) the BEAUTIFUL weather, St. Patrick's Day & OT for a few of my regulars ruined attendance I'm fairly certain. Checked out the weights of the biggest loser (I knew I didn't do good since I just zero'd out) but wanted to see how everyone else was doing. Had I lost another 5.5 lbs. this week I would have been in the top 4 losers. There's always Monday. I hopped on the dreadful evil lying scale & it said I lost 1.5 lbs. from my Monday weigh-in so I've still got a few days to improve that.
9pm~ 2 servings of rare juicy steak (no fat it, was a crazy good cut so it was just pure protein) fresh mushrooms & dehydrated onions sauteed in a tbs. bit of virgin olive oil. Organic baby lettuce mix 2 c. & the last of the organic berry dressing less than 1tbs. fresh blackberries 1/2 pt. on salad & remainder of them for dessert. 1.5 c. of dark choc almond milk. 1 sip of Coors light beer (previously my fave) after 1 sip I was like BLECH..pooehy what is this crap. Yeah, I guess Advocare has now ruined my taste in beer products. Not that it's a bad thing, but I've really liked that on occasion in the past.
bedtime 2tbs. Nyquil (generic) I wasn't about to dump another $8 bucks into crap that doesn't work.
1/4 c. organic lemonade with 1tsp. pure glutamine dissolved into it.
11:20pm bedtime.

WED 3/16

9:30am Advocare berry breakfast bar & grape Spark (Spark finished around 10:30)
Guess who forgot prelunch vitamins?  Yup, me. I'll be taking them 30 prior to dinner tonight. I did take all of my Breakfast/lunch pills right after lunch.
Lunch 12:05pm~green olive & Swiss burger from Ardie's  patty is a normal sized burger patty I'm guessing 1/4 lb. cooked. 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 leaf lettuce, 1 slice tomato, 3 small pickle slices & about 2 larger olives sliced up. Bun is a kinda like Kaiser roll but not as hard & not as big. (I only ate the bottom 1/2) & 5 french fries. More than likely the last time I'll eat a burger there... It wasn't that good & actually kinda grossed me out a bit. Even not taking appetite control vitamins before lunch didn't matter (thankfully). I really didn't eat all that much. I was able to stop with no problems & Advocare successfully has assisted with decreasing the amount of food over time & making me not really want it again, as it didn't taste as good as food like that used to taste.
5pm not hungry yet. My stomach isn't digesting or dealing with the greasy food very well either. I don't feel bad just grumbly.
5:30pm 30 min ZIC at Holmen. I visited the scale of awesomeness that tells me what I want to see. :) 145.2 Which would put me REALLY close to my goal of losing 10lbs. a month. A bit unrealistic but yet with Advocare could possibly be possible.
6:20PM Zumba at Shake N' Shed (I try really hard to get there at 6:15pm but who needs the speeding ticket. I did 1 hour of Zumba Toning (I really don't have a great poker face for it) I'm still struggling with the choreo & some of the music even knowing it really well. At least I do know that i'm taking the students thru a safe workout (it might not be the most fun yet) but moving & burning calories. :) I'm just glad that some of the expressions when I'm deep in thought haven't been video taped. LOL
Anyways, Dinner was pork & veggie/potato leftovers. Spinach salad with small amt. bleu cheese crumbles & 3 reg. green olives (2 stuffed ones) they're almost gone & is another thing I won't be buying again. 1 scoop brownie choc. ice cream & 2 tsp. of caramel. (I really need to watch my dessert intake) I won't be losing much weight if I keep that up. :(
Oh & dayquil type stuff during most of the past few weeks. I don't think the cold is going away again. I'm now coughing even more at night. Nyquil will be repurchased as apparently the day stuff works like crap at night.

Tues 3/15

Breakfast~ 9:45-10:30am Choc. meal shake & grape Spark... & the cough that won't give up. It's like give it up already I've had enough of you & impeding my progress of workout out as much as I'd like to.
Lunch 12:55pm~ 2pm vegan butternut squash soup 1.5 c.
5pm mildly hungry now go figure... but I gotta go to 5:30pm Zumba in the Circuit 30min. at Curves.
5:10pm 15 grapes
Dinner 7:30pm 1 tuna steak with some no fat marinade on it, Trader Joe's .75 cup gnocchi with cheese sauce (left most of the sauce on the plate) 1c. spinach salad with 3 tsp. Italian dressing on it. 10 oz. almond dark choc. milk.
Dark choc. Milkyway candy bar for dessert (yes, unfortunately it was full sized at 230 cal.) I won't be having this in the house again...

Pam, your correct. This is just terrible that this cold is hanging on this long. I'm fairly certain since pretty much everyone at my work has the same "hack" that you can hear in the office that it's a virus. I went to the MD last year after I was sick for 4 weeks, partially healthy for 1 week & sick again for another 3 I finally went in. Not only to be told that I must have caught 2 different viruses but also was sent home with YOU guessed it NOTHING!!!! Nada, for good cough syrup to help NOTHING. That was a total waste of $30.00. Was told to continue taking Nyquil & Dayquil. Finally resolved itself after 2 mo. & then I got poison ivy. (Thankfully after having that show up for more than 1 mo.) they gave me stuff for that. I've been a fairly healthy person but just not in the past spring & now this one. Rumor has it that the virus lasts 3 weeks so perhaps next week I'll be able to kick it. I thought it was getting better but last night the coughing was worse again. :P

Monday 3/14 day off of work

Ok, so it's probably best I'm off of work for the day & get to spend it with Jamie. Of course since we really didn't sleep in this weekend today we slept in until about 9:50 (after getting the dog out at normal time) It felt pretty good. Still have the stupid cold so that's just been a dragging pain trying hard to be ruining my feeling good the past week. Internet is being  really slow today for some reason so I've got to try to get my financial stuff done today & more stuff I can't do other times of the week or weekend it seems.
1c. granola for breakfast.
lunch a beef & bean (smaller sized burrito) & 2 chicken taquitos.
Weigh in at SNAP +/- 0  Yeah, whatever... I disagree with that evil scale anyways at least I didn't gain anything I don't think I've had a gain week in almost 4 months other than perhaps +.5 due to mother nature but then it dropped the following week. Clothes are still fitting better but that is what happened about 2 weeks ago too where I've been seeing a drop & then a nothing & then a drop the following week so we'll see. I did check in to see how the other people were doing. Not losing as much as the previous week so I'm not surprised at all. Chalking it up to this horrible cough/cold that is interfering with my rabid Zumba schedule.
Massage spa night was really good. Massuse (MIL) mentioned that even since last month on the 14th she could totally tell that the weight has kept coming off & my muscles were getting more toned.
I did do 2 hours last night 1 of Zumba Toning & 1 of regular, really sweaty & intense. Sound system broke up the workout shutting off in the middle of the session in the middle of a song. No one could figure out why.
Dinner 9pm pork roast 1 serving with blackberry chipolte sauce (no HFCS in it) 6 baby carrots, 1.5 small potato, & some frozen tomatoes (for juice) made in the crock pot.  5  guac. chips & some guac.
2 small pieces of organic dark choc. with mango & cashew. Had a mini Take 5 too. Don't know why, as that was just too much anyways & wasn't good for weight loss.  I wasn't hungry at the time but who knows.
4 oz. organic lemonade with 1tsp. pure glutimine right before bed.

Sunday, March 13, 2011

Sunday 3/13~just a dragged out pooped mess. :P

Well with 1 hr. less sleep I noticed. I had my choc. shake in the am. .5 scoop of a pink lemonade Spark. I felt pretty good for most of the day. 1 bite of a snack protein bar Amway brand (this one was at least acceptable taste wise but not something I'd order), 1 Taco John's beef taco for lunch. late afternoon snack was a grilled meat & potato taco from TJ too & 1/2 of a grilled stuft one with chicken & cheese... too much cheese my stomach didn't appreciate it. I had 1 of the water additives Amway brand for immunity that was given to me. I helped my friend move some stuff. I didn't move much of the heavy stuff the guys did that but I did help some so I got some kind of a workout in today. My hips ached kinda today I think it was from wearing the super high heels for longer than normal last night.
I had 5 pieces sushi & the 1/2 taco & 2 peppermint Oreo type cookies for dessert (ok I ate them 1st) :P
I feel stuffed dumb again. So water for the rest of tonight no more food. I took some short naps & am trying desperately to kick this stupid cough/cold that I've had for almost 1.5 weeks now but have refused to let it win over me. Off to do some housework. I was happy that I can now pretty much wear whatever I want that's currently in my closet without wondering well I can't wear that, or I need to end an extender button to that etc. Weigh in day tomorrow at SNAP so I'll have to shape up my eating, as it stunk these past few days. I don't feel much better either if anything, I feel worse eating crappy processed food. The sushi however doesn't count, that didn't make me feel bad as it had fresh & good stuff in it & wasn't all that bad for me except the white short grain sushi rice.
I almost forgot I did manage to get the dog out for a 15 min. walk tonight with the dog since it was a little bit warmer today a whopping 37 degrees!

Saturday 3/12~Curves weigh in day & B2B ZIC

Back to back Zumba in the Circuit in Onalaksa then Holmen. I had an Advocare breakfast bar (berry crunch flavor) this morning. Wasn't bad tasting at all, wasn't great though so I kinda missed my choc. shake. Had a 100 cal. snack bar from a friend of mine that had given me some samples. I wasn't impressed, took 1 bite & then gave the rest to the hubby. He ate it.. he eats anything. I did finally have 1 bite of the Advocare fruit & fiber bar. That was better than the breakfast bar I thought. I tried these vitamin water drops from the same friend with lunch that was strawberry/kiwi flavored. Really great tasting. Had it with lunch which was 1c. veggie "hamburger" helper leftovers & 2c. salad with 2 tsp. of ranch dressing a few salad pita chips on it & some sun dried tomatoes. Thanks to Curves & their salad kit.
Off to take a short nap. I did wake up at 7am & didn't have any Spark or "decaf" products today.
2:50pm naptime...
Ok so that didn't go as planned... I do feel less tired but didn't really "nap" good news is that I got out 4 pairs of washed worn & preshrunk jeans most about a size 8 in actuality & tags that say 9/10 Jr's sizing. ALL of them buttoned... yes... buttoned. I haven't worn any of the jeans in like 6 years or so. I don't know how mentally disturbing that is that I've kept that many pairs of clothes for years that I haven't even been able to wear but now I'm glad I did. I also found a pair of 7/8 Jr's & my brand new goal jeans of 5/6 that I've had since 2003 that I'd come sooooo close to fitting into but never made it into them. Now I kinda regret getting rid of the 3/4 jeans that I long gave up on. At this rate I'd have been able to have worn them possibly by fall. Oh well gives me an excuse to go for a new fall wardrobe then right? Or I'll be going back into my size 14 possibly in late fall/winter but possibly be on the way to having a baby, maybe.
Sushi at Yoko's house for dinner. Nothing with mayo in it or too horribly bad. I did get a Philly roll but didn't eat the whole thing all at once. Leftovers for lunch tomorrow too. I didn't overeat! I probably could have stopped sooner but at least didn't have the "overly full" feeling.
Ended with a glass of Reisling wine. I wish I wouldn't have done that though. I would have rather have had a piece of chocolate or some other dessert later on. Was at the La Crosse symphony orchestra concert tonight. In-laws didn't want to go & had other obligations instead to tend to.
Here's my size SMALL dress that I haven't worn or fit into in about 6 years!

La Crosse Symphony Orchestra & Yoko's House for sushi before hand were also good. I did pretty good on the sushi choices & did stop in time before having the "ugh too full" feeling. I did have part of  a philly roll & some other sushi but nothing with may or anything in it. I also had 1 glass of Resling at the concert & afterwards wish I hadn't it wasn't that great. :P It was the 1st glass I'd had in quite some time.

Friday 3/11 winging it....

Choc shake... oh how you make my morning choc. shake... WoW I don't know if these things keep tasting better. Pretty pathetic that I look forward to a protein shake in the AM like it's almost as good as chocolate brownie ice cream with caramel. (which it is!) .5 scoop of Spark grape
12:20 starting to get a bit hungry... taking 30 min prior pills now.
1pm~ Brothers 8 wonderful garlic wings (they're not jumbo chicken wings) for lunch
Wow that was beyond filling.... I didn't even get a chance to get a different food group in there.
5pm... still full just an FYI to people I haven't taken a Leptilean yet... it's supposed to be 45 min before eating but there's never a good time during the week for me to take it. I'll probably take it sometime this weekend so stay tuned. ;) the "C" is working just crazy good all on it's own.
1.25 scoops of grape Rehydrate with 2 qts. water. No one showed up for Zumba Toning again.. I'm fairly certain it will be cancelled or reduced to 30 min. for April's session. Apparently, there are those that are interested & those that are truly dedicated.
8:10pm Snack 5 guac. chips & 1 Tbs. guac.
8:30pm cajun marinated chicken breast, 2 small organic potatoes a little bigger than golf ball size (buttery spread & lo-fat sour cream minimal as always)
2 servings of mixed veggies (no buttery spread) but a little seasoning salt over veggies & potatoes.
2 pieces of chocolate & a choc. coated mint peep... I for some reason couldn't control myself. I was overly full once again... I need to stop doing that I keep saying that but for some reason still can't control myself even if I know I'm full. :(
Watched Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr. it was really good. He's a good actor I  like him in a lot of movies I've seen lately.

THU 3/10

9:15am ~Breakfast Choc. meal shake.
10:15am~snack 100 cal. Almonds butter toffee flavor.
12:30 lunch~ 20 grapes 12:50... apparently I'm full... this isn't good... I haven't even gotten to my
1.5 c. spinach with dried strawberries & strawberry vinaigrette dressing on it yet. &  Greek 2x protein yogurt Yoplait honey vanilla 6oz.
3pm... starting to barely think about the yogurt that I didn't even have room for for lunch... maybe in 30 min. or so.
3:30-3:45: Snack~ Greek 2x protein yogurt Yoplait honey vanilla 6oz.
4:45pm~ 100 cal. Craisins packet
55 min Zumba~ at SNAP fitness Bluffside

8:20pm snack 7 guac. chips & 1tbs. guac. (all this is the "real stuff" not the fake avocado stuff).
8:40pm dinner 3/4 cup of veggie protein "hamburger" helper made with almond milk, 2c. salad with 6 green olives & a tbs of bleu cheese crumbles/ French dressing. 1 smallish baked potato with 1tsp. of buttery spread & sour cream 1 scoop ice cream & 1tbs. of caramel. Still think I might have ate too much

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

WED 3/9~ The sub that sunk me...

Berry Advocare meal replacement & V-16 morning~thru 11am.
11am~serving of dried raspberries.
12:30 lunch~ Erberts & Gerbert's Tillius sub on french bread... I thought about having it on wheat but they're both not good for you so I figured what's the difference. I did have advocado added to the sub.  Pretty much roast beef & some other stuff on it. A naughty meal for the week I guess. Wed. lunch with relatives was canceled due to the crappy more snow. Although, it wasn't bad at all so a bit bummed about it. :(  Oh & 1 Kwik trip M&M mini cookie... I regret that as it didn't even taste good.
Also, of course I didn't really read the whole description of the sandwich. It was ok but would have been much better W/O the raw onions on it... yuck. :P Not to mention I for some dumb reason ate the whole thing... (I didn't have ANYTHING else) but the sandwich & now feel way overly full.
I need to stop doing that... eat 1/2 of 1 thing then wait 2 hours & eat the other 1/2 or not at all. I didn't think it was that large of a sub. I guess it's just the carbs feeling like they're 10lbs. heavier after not eating hardly any for a month. I noticed that at the Sunday lunch too I had .5 of a dinner bun & it felt like I'd eaten 3 of them or something. This was my larger meal of the day as I've got Zumba possibly late into the night so I didn't want to eat too much so late at night. Turns out I'll really have to watch dinner now to be just light so I don't feel like I ate too much & mildly hurting.
5pm still no sign of hunger... wow that sandwich & 1 cookie really did me in today.... I swear that it wasn't that large of a sandwich!
30 min ZIC at Curves & 45 min. of Zumba Toning (no one showed up for EITHER S n'S class again) I'm hoping it was due to the possibility of the weather turning not so great or due to the fact people went to church or something. I was able to socialize a little bit. Get paid to learn my routine better & leave early. I personally would have rather liked to have had someone there to workout with though. Either way it probably was for the best. I sound like i'm going to die or something when the cooldown starts. I get these coughing spells still for some reason. Thanks to Advocare this is the best I've felt fighting off a cold ever. Now if only the dumb cold would go away.
1.5 servings of grape Rehydrate during & after the toning workout. My inner legs & legs themselves are still sore from working out with Beto on Monday too. I rediscovered which movements caused the mild soreness today.
8:25pm snack of 5 guac. chips & a bit of guac.
8:45pm Dinnertime: a couple of  spoonfuls of beans & sauce kinda like Bush's baked beans but a little spicier. It had some of the leftover hotdog mixed in it. Maybe about 1c. total or so of the combined mixture. 1.5 c. of fresh spinach with some dried strawberries a few slivers of almond & 1 tbs. of strawberry dressing. 1 small mini snack Take 5 candy bar. I shouldn't have done that... as my stomach is still not talking to my brain & telling me hey dummy your already full, why are you still feeding me. I need to carefully revaluate how much i'm eating as I apparently can only eat about the same amount of food as someone who had barbaric surgery or something. I still can't mentally grasp that concept very well. Oh well we'll try again tomorrow to see if I can get it then. Another thing I'm not grasping well is that I keep having to stop trying to wear clothes that are falling off of me.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Tues~3/8

Choc. meal replacement shake. Might change it up tomorrow with a low fat granola bar instead, but who knows.
10:45pm~small handful of dried raspberries with a little bit of sugar dried into them.
12:20pm lunch 1.5 c. of the TGIF pasta, chicken & capers (all gone now) 1.5 c. of red grapes.
1:45pm snack 1 med. banana

I managed to find another very unflattering photo of myself on my Jamie's FB page.. apparently that's where a lot of them are hiding as you certainly won't find many of them on mine. Very embarrassed that I ever let myself get that large. :(

5pm I'm good. Off to 30 min ZIC at Onalaska Curves.
Wasn't many people. Perhaps the pending snow storm kept people at home. Thanks to the ladies that did come out tonight. :)
Dinner was later tonight again. My fault as I had forgotten that I had a friend & Curves lady I had invited over to talk shop & go over some products of similar & different. I'll have to look into some of that more & we're going to do some swapping so I'll make sure to keep everyone updated on that too.

I did this skin face damage thing that showed where my pores were clogged & I needed more hydration & it was a great thing to have done. Some guac. flavored corn chips & some REAL guacamole for
a late afternoon snack. Seriously only like 5 chips & a little dip total. I didn't want any more than that.
Dinner was barely a serving of leftover pork on the bone & a couple potato pieces & snap peas & peppers & seasoning. I had 1 real fruit no sugar popsicle (40 cal.) & .5 cup of organic real lemonade agave sweetened with 1tbs. of glutamine in it. No Catalyst with the 30 min. workout today. I just don't feel that it has long enough to work & with doing the night glutamine to help recover I don't want to OD myself on it anyways.

Monday 3/7

choc. shake... Yummy. I've got some berry crunch breakfast bars on the way for next week. :) Have to change it up a little I think just for the sake of well I don't know... Nothing says starting off a great morning like choc. ;) Banana mid morning snack & grape Spark.
12:25pm~ Lunch 3 wontons & .5 c. of the Japanese noodles, seaweed & tomatoes... all gone... I would have thrown it out otherwise as now it's getting to be sitting around too long even for no meat in it. 1 serving of sea salt cashews.
2:45pm grapes about 35 of them. (they were mostly small)
5pm small apple & 100 cal. mixed cheese cubes packet. (I only ate about 30 cal. of them I didn't like it) or it started not to taste good not sure, but I didn't finish it.
Stopped by SNAP for my Monday weigh in for the 8 week program. We're not even going to say what that evil scale says I weigh every week as it's lying & always adds 5 lbs. to what my weight really is. But it said I dropped 5.5 lbs. from what it started at last week so for the sake of tracking for the program we'll go with that as that's all that matters for the weight loss program. As for my actual weight tracking I keep that all at Curves in Holmen. I like that scale it's good to me.
Catalyst when I got to S N'S.
6:15pm Zumba Toning (no one showed up) so I did the hour with Beto & ran over the routine with the 2.5lb big gun toning sticks. Even kissed my guns just like Beto did on the DVD.... LOL No one also showed up for the 7:15pm Zumba so I did stop by Woodman's & picked up some fresh discounted lettuce & dried raspberries & a few other small items that were discounted. Got about 5 bucks of grapes for .79 that must have just gotten marked down as there wasn't anything wrong with them.
Anyways, dinner was a pork bone with a fairly good amount of meat on it (fat trimmed off of it) a med. sized baked potato, small dallop (about 1tsp.) of low cal. sour cream & buttery spread (about 1tsp.), 1.5c lettuce & a tiny amount of bleu cheese .75 Tbs. & a small amount of the remaining spinach/garlic/organic dressing .75 tbs.. 1 scoop choc turtle ice cream & 1 tbs. of caramel topping.  Some cough syrup... hopefully this stupid cold is on it's last legs. I'm heading off to bed here soon to hopefully help kick it.

Sunday 3/6

Organic Trader Joe's mango granola with almond milk (1 serving size)
Lunch was some vegan soup acorn squash soup & chili, I also had some fruit salad a small piece of vegan bread & a vegan cream puff with choc. sauce on it. I had a small amount of some other vegan thing perhaps, but I don't think so. I wasn't all that hungry. Supper was a salad with a very small amount of the cran/rasp organic dressing & a couple of pita chips on it & 1.5 cups of the wheat angel hair pasta, chicken & capers from TGIF left over (I did add more capers to it). 1c. of dark choc. almond milk. I also treated myself to a scoop of ice cream & tbs. of carmel topping. Now full once again.

Saturday 3/5

C Pre packet LOTS of water all morning long grape Spark mixed with grape Rehydrate & in between my 2~ 30 min ZIC sessions a berry meal replacement & 1 banana. Lunch was 1 bite of salad 1 heaping tablespoon of these texas Bush's baked beans & 3 taquitos (which is more remaining food item in the house we'll no longer ever buy again due to the highly processed & unhealthy food) Still sick so lunch was kinda rushed.  I took a nap trying to catch up on some sleep as I'd been coughing some last night & tonight didn't look too promising either. Didn't work too well as once I laid down I started coughing a lot. I was able to talk to Pam so that cheered me up feeling useful & assisting her with the 24 day order. It's like the 6 sheets are a very important guide book to success & I should have gone over it in more detail I think. I'm still kinda new at it so I'll know to do better explaining the next time.
Dinner out to eat... :) I weighed in this AM at 150 with heavy shoes & clothes on & still full of food if you get my drift, so I wasn't to displeased at all. Not to mention I'll have to put the pants I was wearing away as they were kinda baggy & still falling down even with a belt on. Did 1 hour Zumba at BRF too.
Dinner was at TGIF I had a free entree with an app & entree purchase... both of us could have just eaten the app only (boneless wings) & I think I had 4 of them & 3 pieces of celery dipped in bleu cheese dressing & walked away full! Took 5 small bites of the entree & boxed the rest up. Jamie also had about that of his entree too a little more & no celery. He couldn't eat more... which is exactly what he shouldn't be doing.
I had 2 blue raspberry gummies at 10pm as a small treat. No dessert at all at TGIF even though everything looked yummy I didn't even come close to hardly touching the entree. NO Leptilean even! That "C" vitamin packet is really working well all on it's own! Here are some photos that I took today. I guess I'm about 51% close to my goal weight of about 117.

As you can see I didn't bother to photoshop them as you notice the horrible tag sticking out... in the before photos (ones with clothes on) I'm about 170-175 approx. I really had problems finding photos as I had stop allowing most be taken as big as I was & the most recent I could even find was from 10/31/10.
The swim suit I'm wearing is a size 5 bottoms & size 7-8 JR's top. Which is hopefully close to my final weight goal.

Friday 3/4

Ok so my typical breakfast routine prepills as I leave then house & going for the choc. Advocare meal replacement today when I get to work 35 min later. I still can't get over how yummy they are, also how disgusting that Shakology one I had 2 days ago was!
1/2 powder serving of Grape Spark (got my canister in today so much cheaper than the packets)
10:30am start on the Spark. A bit later but I drank a lot of water this am with the morning pills.
11:50am ~ 30 min before lunch pills
12:40pm lunch... ok so it wasn't exactly 30 min... Japanese noodle leftovers (not making that much again I hate eating the same exact food for like 3 days in a row) for like more than 1 meal a day. 10 (or so) baby carrots & some salmon dip (more salmon than a dip) 1 banana & 5 cashew seasalt roasted natural nuts too. Approx. count on stuff... if I'm going to literally count that it's getting a bit too bad.
almost 5pm & not hungry. :)
8:40pm dinner. I was hungry but was meeting with a lady about 5 days into her Advocare cleanse & wanted to do the 14 days after the cleanse now too seeing the results. She's been feeling better & losing some weight already. She's been struggling with some energy issues & with her food allergies had pretty much already been eating pretty good. She's notice that she's not eating quite as much & feeling fuller faster & is so far pleased with the results & the products. (obviously)
What's really bad is I can't remember what I ate last night... really bad. All I know was I was tired & have somehow came down with a cough/cold. Not only that but I do know I had too much to eat & it really wasn't all that much food either. I do know I had 2 small pieces of that cchip cookie brownie... so at least I remembered the important part. Not only that I now remember. 1 had 2 crossant wrapped hotdogs stuffed with rice cheese & some buttery sauced corn... So needless to say not anything I'd recommend as healthy eating... but good news is once all that's outta the house we're no longer buying all kinds of unhealthy items anymore so at least that was the good news of that.

THURS 3/3

taking the "C" appetite control vitamins. Day 3. I can TOTALLY tell a difference. It's now 1.75 hours after I started drinking my shake. I'm pretty full & am having problems finishing it. Not because of the taste (as we all know from previous posts the Advocare meal replacements are yummy) but because I feel full. I want to reach 140 by the end of this month... I don't think 8.8 lbs. in a month is too much to ask for 139.9 is better, but I'm being reasonable here.
SNAP fitness has an 8 week team goal weight loss going on & great prizes to be won for that! So even more motivation is always a good thing. Not to mention the fact that I've pretty much become a walking billboard & don't even need to say a word about Advocare as the loss in just 1 month is so obvious people are coming up & asking me what I've been doing. Or if they haven't seen me in 4 mo. they might possibly not even totally recognize me or at least question their judgment.
Berry meal replace & V-16 today for breakfast, & morning snack as I didn't really feel like eating it. I'm really liking the "C" vitamins... they are really working great to help me feel full. Lunch 1.5 cups of lettuce & reduced low fat/lo cal Balsamic dressing & 1 can of tuna right outta the can... full... go figure, guess I'll have to put back the carrots & dip I had planned on having a few cashews too yet for lunch. Will save for a snack, or something. I didn't even have an afternoon snack yesterday... which is freaking awesome as my biggest issue is eating not only too much or the wrong stuff but the growlies in the afternoon.
I guess it's true what they say that habits are formed in just 14-20 days as I've got some stale Double Stuft Oreo's & crunchy gummy worms in my work closet... SHHH don't tell anyone. Not that I think anyone would want them at this point anymore.
2pm banana snack~was almost too ripe & I needed to eat it.
3:30pm literally 4 cashews. I really wanted to try them... Ok so I'm gonna stop snacking after this as i'm not really that hungry, just procrastinating about doing more work.
8:30pm Dinner~ 1.5 c. leftover tomato, seaweed & Japanese rice noodles &  3/4 c. sauteed in olive oil mushrooms & 3 Trader Joe's shrimp wantons. I've been reading recently how you should avoid shrimp & lobster... still not convinced as to why... might want to look that up but know that it wouldn't make me avoid them anyways. I had 1 small piece of that cchip brownie. It was a really small piece.
1tbs. pure glutamine stirred into organic agave sweetened lemonade. Yeah, it sometimes is amazing what you find on sale at Woodman's for a reasonable price.

The Final 24 day Advocare challenge results are in!

I had to wait until I could get in with the same person measuring same scale & until the muscle swelling subsided from the extra Zumba toning classes recently this week. so 30 min of ZIC & 1 hour of Zumba Toning/ Zumba mix at Shake N' Shed I did a private session as for some reason Wed. attendance is just slow there for some reason.
I lost 12.6 lbs., 4 pants sizes (12 down to size 8) 1 entire ring size, 4.25 inches over the measurements taken & I can no longer see love handles from the front view in the mirror. I'll post photos this weekend (maybe sooner but not tonight).
Some of the measurements that I didn't lose in surprised me. Nothing in the chest area, I'm not sure is accurate as I know that my size changed there in bras. The other measurement that didn't surprise me was my thigh measurement didn't change... truly there wasn't hardly anything there at all to lose (very solidly muscle) to begin with so I'm not surprised. Biggest change was my waistline going from 35 down to 33.5 going down just 1.5" in just a month.

Wed 3/2

Ok so it looks like I'm not going to catch up with the blog or have time to for the past few days. Needless to say I've been eating fairly healthy had a piece of  CChip cookie brownie last night but hardly ate much during the day the "C" appetite control Advocare vitamins I started on work very well to make my stomach live by my rules not it's own. Anyways, got some more Advocare info & found out that Catalyst aka "lipo in a bottle" is possibly what's making my fat rolls go away so quickly with my current exercise routine. Take it 10-15 min before working out & I've been taking pure glutamine 1tbs. at night on more intense workout days. Seems my 30 min. Zumba workouts are almost so easy at this point, I don't feel like it's a workout anymore... I forgot to take it last night. But seriously, I've talked to multiple in the know people about it & they said it's very very good.
Another thing I read just last night about the cleanse I didn't do but sounds very much like I should have done is water "chugging" sessions with almost 2X the regular recommended amount of water. I seem to do pretty well on that drinking about 2 qts. a day. but they were saying almost 4... wow looks like on the cleanse I should have been going a lot more pee wise had I been drinking that much. I'll know for the next one... just think I could have lost more weight had I actually followed all the suggestions. I forgot to take my Omegaplex at night during that too! I guess reading more would have been a bigger benefit.

I just sampled some Shakeology (not an Advocare product) protein drink this AM instead... OMG I wanted to yak. That stuff greenberry flavor was GROSS... I'm talking GROSS with capitol letters~! So horrible I had to hold my nose to choke it down & then wanted to still yak. I really wished I had remembered to bring it this morning I did remember my "C" pack vitamins.  Good thing it was just a sample or I really would have been upset. If your ever looking for a good dare that would be a good one. I feel like my tongue was violated. :P
Washing mouth out after a ton of water  & then with Oasis... much better & blueberry tea flavored.
Wow, still a few hours later & the grossness is still burned into my tastebuds... man it's like it was lima bean, beet & brusselsprout flavored  (all stuff I hardly ever eat with similar yuckyness) or something just a nasty...if not nastier.
went to a chinese buffet for lunch. did really well didn't eat much & didn't really care for the few pieces of fried stuff I did have... it's like the desire to eat that is gone. Even the ice cream I used to like there I didn't even have any as I was full after just 1 plate of food. For the best I'm sure. I'm just happy it didn't taste as icky as that greenberry drink.

Sun 2/27

Ok so I had a terrible night last night... I took some vitamins from Barge's nutritional supply on Friday & Saturday... it was supposed to be similar to what was in the V16 drinks.... Not only did it turn my pee a neon yellow... (not kidding) even drinking my regular amounts of water... I didn't feel energized & I ended up getting up I kid you not 10 times during the night to pee. Good thing I do testing on myself before I even thinking about confidently soliciting them onto other people. :P Needless to say that stuff isn't even in our house anymore... What a waste of $$ man I'd feel TOTALLY ripped off had I bought that stuff full price.
It's just testament to appreciating the Advocare products even more... no qty.'s of having to buy 120 pills only to find out they don't work or some other horrible stuff like having to wreck your weekend of sleep.
I didn't wake up until 10am due to the stupid pee incidents all night long on Sunday. I treated myself to a semi- naughty day I had 1 serving of Cinnabon caramel pancakes 3 small ones (processed food) with a little 0 cal buttery spread & syrup... yes i'm sure HFCS was involved... & 3 lo-fat breakfast links. They didn't even taste that good.
Late lunch was some suddenly salad bacon & ranch macaroni salad.. hubby made it & put in the actual amount of mayo... which is always too much & 2 marinaded beef kabobs. Dinner was a Subway 6" flatbread w/ 1 slice white American cheese, 1 sausage patty, egg whites, little bit of mayo, tomato & black olives (had the other 1/2 for breakfast on 2/28) & 1/2 advocado.
