Saturday 2/26

Ok so I tried to get measured but I didn't think it was fair to the 24 day challenge since my body was still swollen/sore from 2 hours yesterday & was even more ticked after another 2 hours today of working out.
As I said in my in between post that I can visually notice that my love handles are almost gone & my clothes are fitting better. I'll get on that scale when I feel good & ready. LOL as long as I look thinner & feel way better does it really matter?
    Anyways, JT protein shake for breakfast.. I think it's my last as that shake is just not good tasting... such a shame that it's 5 times more expensive than Advocare & I can't tell any difference between the products other than the fact that it doesn't taste good. Possibly will pawn it off on the MIL since she possibly might like it. Gave the hubby the ...well we won't go there... let's just say that stuff isn't going to be used anymore. Being off the Advocare vitamins & not having a V-16, Oasis or Spark today I've felt kinda draggy. Could just be the slightly altered sleep schedule but I'm not going to take my chances. I'm going to get back on the vitamin packs. I'm going to try the appetite control formula this next time. I think that the Max pack 3 did an ok job.. but would like to try the appetite control as that is still my biggest weakness.
 Naptime... yeah... I guess I needed it.
3pm~ Lunch was some leftover mac & cheese with the chicken sausage, more of the remaining veggies & 1 choc. yogurt granola sandwich dessert. & 10 oz. of dark chocolate almond "milk".
9pm dinner-pork serving with green beans & 1 small baked potato with a tiny dallop of low fat Smart Balance sour cream, small amount of buttery spread & chives. 1 choc. yogurt granola sandwich dessert.
 Ha ha I fooled you... I'm going to use the will power to only have 1 dessert if that a day... I wanted to do it though... :( but  I won't undo what I just spent the last 3 months doing... I made it thru ALL 4 major fat laden eating holidays & have lost weight I can do it. I'm almost 50% of the way to my goal weight. Which is much further than I thought I'd be by this time.

Wrapping up comments from Challenge...

You know what, I forgot to weigh myself today 2/26...I'm fairly confident that I lost 12 lbs. during the 24 day challenge. Most of which were during & a few days after the cleanse. I did try to remember to get measured. But the person who did my 1st measurements wasn't available before I had started working out in the AM which is when you need to get them done as once you start moving they get bigger as blood rushes thru them. Probably better that I didn't I did 2 hours late at night for a charity Zumba Fitness party & then did 2~30 min sessions & 1 hour today & my muscles were already swollen & ticked at me.
      I will tell you a few things I've noticed. 1 that I am finally starting to feel like my love handles are almost totally gone from the front view of me. I've not felt all that hot being off of the multi vitamin pack as I feel that they were making a nice balanced difference. I'm going to be buying & trying the appetite control pac next... Shakeology tastes different but the Advocare shakes taste WAY better. My clothes have continued to fit better & better this month regardless of the scale. Please also take into consideration that I've added another 2-3 hours of classes on all of which are toning/sculpting Zumba classes which has kinda ticked my body off this week too thankfully not all my classes had people show up to them. I know that even compared to last month that I can no longer eat as much food & have continued to find that less & less is needed especially if it's healthy food. I have discovered that dairy products in general has caused me to have excess gas... ( I know very unpleasant, but for quite some time I had thought it was an allergy to mushrooms & not the dairy)  The vitamin combinations that I've been trying isn't working nearly as efficently & w/o taking either Spark or V16 (caffeine free) I've felt kinda draggy all day long. I even took a nap. Possibly chalking it up to late night Friday doing so much getting to bed late & all morning on Saturday too working out & getting up earlier than usual. Either way I'm fairly confident it was the Advocare vitamins that was helping during the 14 day metabolic restore. I will be continuing to use the vitamins & Spark (or V-16 or Oasis) & will keep everyone updated on products etc. I think the Catalyst is what is trimming everything out so much at this point. I also will be having the meal replacements for breakfast as they are just so easy & quick to do in the AM & are truly great tasting & healthy. Choc. is my total fave flavor but all 3 are really REALLY tasty... Sorry I keep going on & on about them but they are just the BOMB... I've also heard from some other people that have added hot water to them for hot cocoa shakes. MMMM. Haven't tried that yet but possibly as it's snowing a ton again outside & isn't warm either.

FRI 2/25

8:30am Advocare Probiotic max pill. 30+ min prior to Advocare Choc. protein shake. Every time I drink this stuff it keeps tasting even better I swear! So very very glad I only had 1 easily accessible to me!
I've put together a collective package of varied brands both Advocare & some other lines of vitamins/herbs etc. to take throughout the day careful to ensure pretty much everything was there but not double coverage. 1 biospec energy vitamin (I'll get the scoop on what it's called when i'm at home), 2 multi-vitamins, 2 calcium/D vitamins, Advocare 2 Omegaplex (during lunch as fish oil should be taken with food)
9:45am 1/2 packet of Spark Pink Lemonade flavor (very tasty but doesn't beat the grape flavor)
1 cranberry & 1 chickweed herbal supplement 30 min. prior to lunch (I've done a lot of research on the filling characters of chickweed) but it's harder than heck to find sometimes...
Lunch~12:30pm 1.5 cup of creamy chicken & wild rice soup... hee hee... ok so a naughty item isn't all that horrible is it every once in awhile? & a reasonable amount too & a small banana.
5pm~ 1 medium Banana &
 Choc. Shakeology shake... going to try a new brand~ ok tasting.. different than Advocare but I still think seeing how Shakeology is more expensive that the Advocare does taste better both in price & in taste.

3 Catalyst once I'm sure there is going to be a 1 hr. toning class at Shake N' Shed (nope no one showed). If not.. the 2 hour Zumba Fitness party will suffice... I won't be dancing the whole time so don't think I'm like crazy workout chick or something... usually the instructors sit part of the time during that 2 hours & cluck in the back waiting their turns on stage networking & such.
Dinner at 10pm.. yeah, hubby waited for me to come home to eat. fake ground veggie "meat" in a different hamburger helper dish. Extra pasta was added to it & onions & made with almond "milk". Just had a tiny bit. Also, frozen fresh tomatoes from the garden mixed with some frozen summer squash & onions from a bagged frozen veggies. 1 choc. yogurt granola sandwich dessert. Really really need to stop myself from even having just 1 a day. I know they are much healthier than other desserts but still 180 cal. each still doesn't verify for the fiber & probiotics in them.

Last Day of 24 day challenge 2/24

Ok so apparently my will power stinks the past few days. They brought in fresh muffins from Festival foods. I had 1/2 of a cranberry/nut muffin. Caloric wise about equiv. to the protein shake but I'm positive not as healthy. I'm doing V16 again today, I like the taste it's kinda like a mimosa without the champagne in it as it's bubbly & is similar to a carbonated beverage but is in powder form.
Rice noodle bowl for lunch mushroom flavored.
1:30 snack 100 cal. pack of cheese & 20 grapes.
3pm 20 more grapes. :) I like grapes, too bad they're so expensive. V16 is working well... well as well as I'd expect it to w/o caffeine in it. At least the bathroom isn't constantly calling which is why i've never been very good with caffeine.
4pm 1/4 of a different muffin... in hind site the one I had for breakfast was much yummier...speaking of hind site I think I felt some of that go to my butt...
Zumba tonight at SNAP 55min session.
Dinner was box mac N cheese 1.5 cups made with almond milk & 1/2 of the butter requested. Added organic chicken & apple "hotdogs" mixed into it. 2.5 cup salad with 1 HB egg 1/2 avocado, 1 bleu cheese olive 5 regular olives & organic garlic spinach dressing. 1 choc. yogurt granola sandwich dessert. Really have to get in to get weighed & measured before exercising... :( Have no clue when the same measuring person will be in tomorrow so I'll have to call.

Wed 2/23 2nd to last day!

Berry Advocare protein shake for breakfast (was good but personally choc. is better)
Advocare V16~ good energy with no caffeine, totally a great product.
 Lunch salad, HB egg & a few green olives, a tiny amount of pita chips, basalmic dressing (1 bleu cheese olive) & 1 slice of pizza (I forgot to mention yesterday if it's leftover pizza I NEVER eat the crust if it's just regular crust) aka. cheese stuffed doesn't count, I'd totally eat that. LOL
snack 1 clementine, 1 apple, 1 double stuft Oreo & 1 banana. Ok I was really hungry... notice the order I ate them in... really need to start bringing fiber/fruit bar or fiber drink for afternoon munchie attacks.
30 min ZIC & then 1 hour ZT & 1 hour Z (hoping that someone shows up for at least 1 of these classes) wondering when other instructors or people are going to start looking at my schedule & then freaking out or something... thinking I have no energy to be teaching all those classes.

Tues 2/22

Choc. breakfast protien shake. 2 slices of leftover pizza, Greek yogurt for lunch, fruit for snack.
Dinner was 1.5 cups hamburger helper (super lean meat) added mushrooms made with almond milk (lower in fat, higher in lots of other good stuff & non-dairy) & a  2 c. salad. granola sandwich with frozen yogurt for dessert. 30 min ZIC.

Day 10,11 & 12 Sat-Mon- 2/19-21

Ok so just to be brief on this since I fell behind. :( Sat 2 hours of Zumba 2- ZIC sessions 1 regular session. Lunch at KFC buffet... yeah naughty this weekend but came to find out I could hardly eat anything at all without feeling overly full. Picked skin off & got veggies & was REALLY good at the buffet. Even overly full. I did have a choc. mousse torte piece. Dinner was sushi & shashimi. also. Miso soup & a small salad. leftovers were saved for lunch on Sunday too.
   Sunday Breakfast was the protein shake. I had multiple hours of various exercises & Zumba with certification on Sunday. Lunch was a few leftover sushi pieces, 1 HB egg & 1 greek yogurt pack. I also added some rehydrate, Catalyst & a SLAM into the water mix with all of the exercise going on. Dinner... 1 HB egg, 4 BBQ chicken wings & 3 slices of pizza (hamburger, green olives & mushrooms) insane $10 tip for the delivery guy as he risked his life in the 17" of snow to drive 5 blocks to deliver the pizza. Vitamin water to wash it down I can't ever tell if any of that stuff works it's totally not like Spark or the V16. (out of filtered water at this point). Once again ate too much food & totally not surprised. Snowed in & I'd be darned eating fruit & fiber bars & protein shakes for dinner after working out about 6 hrs. :P
    Monday~ cup of processed fruit. :P & 2% milk (only thing available) 1.5 cups of healthy granola, cherry & choc. chip mix from Target (good thing we picked it up on Saturday night)
More sushi for lunch from Trader Joes. Darn them little sugar cubes of rice at least the fish is totally healthy for you. Dinner was leftover pasta, salad & a good cut of steak. Granola sandwich with frozen yogurt for dessert. No classes.. no one showed up for 2 hours of them. I did stretch out & work on some choreo. Was very sore from Sunday.

Day 9 FRI- 2/18

Pre breakfast pills 8:25am
9:10am Advocare Choc. protein shake.. MMMM good thing I only brought 1 as I might have tried to drink 2... Spark drank after until about 11:45am

Lunch 12:45pm smart ones dragon frozen shrimp & noodles meal. I added 3/4 cup extra green beans. Felt the veggies amount was pathetic but their was more than enough sauce to cover everything. Rasp-goji sugar free jello.
2:25pm~ hungry bit my lip at lunch eating lunch too fast... going to go get a clementine & banana.
Emergency Zumba session called at 1:40pm to fill in at Shake N' Shed from 5:45- 6:15 & 6:25-7pm tonight (if anyone shows for the 35 min class) Which no one did. So just 35 min of Zumba then for me. Supper was more of the pasta leftovers from last night. Off to bed early as insane weekend to follow.. I'll hopefully get caught up with it by tomorrow!

Day 8 THU 2/17

Pre breakfast probiatic 9:30am ( I picked up some Advocare probiatic boost) it helps calm the stomach & is good for digestion. Stomach feeling really good. Now if Advocare just made something to help with mother nature's monthly visit to take care of cramps then we'd be talking.
10am Advocare Choc. protein shake.. MMM talked to assistant about ditching the crappy tasting Slimfast.. sampled some & was like wow this does taste way better & has way more good stuff in it too.
 11:45am pre lunch pills

Full until lunch 12:30pm lunch~fresh fruit .3 slice melon, 2 small reg strawberry
1 cup white rice & .5 cup brown rice with tiny amount of sauce, peas & mushrooms.
1:15pm part of white rice is still sitting here as i'm full.... thinking how I could have totally have polished everything off & added a meat of some sort & a dessert of some sort & possibly who knows what else. 

   Just 3 months ago... & here I am... full. I couldn't even tell you what a double stuft Oreo tastes like anymore. I'm afraid to try one now as either it will be really gross or it will be so good I don't want to go back up the scale after doing so good & racing down it. At least the cravings & urges to stuff my face are gone. I feel great. No Spark even today & I feel good. Which is just unusual as you'd think just getting over mild food poisoning that you wouldn't think "good" was the word you'd use less than 40 hours later.
1:45 finished the rice & had a serving of sugar free rasp-goji jello.  It was yummy.
4:30 banana
55 min Zumba at SNAP fitness tonight took 3 Catalyst vitamins 10 min before
8:30pm Dinner ~ 5 pieces lobster ravioli (no cheese in it) 3/4 cup vermacelli, frozen peas, fresh mushrooms & 1 can of lobster bisque (for the entire dinner mixed in for sauce) & a lettuce carrot cabbage mix, some pita salad chips from Curves & fresh & dried tomato with Italian dressing.
1 small lump of fudge for dessert (approx 1"x1").
Pure glutamine 1 tbs. right before bed. (glutamine is one of the main ingredients in Catalyst). with 4 oz. of organic no sugar lemonade. Glutamine powder doesn't have the best taste when mixed just with water.

Day xx WED 2/16

2 banana's & Advocare rehydrate for breakfast. Stomach still having painful cramping & gas. No more evacuations though so far...
 12:25 lunch 3.5 cup rice with chicken bullion soaked in it & 1c. raspberry applesauce.
1:30 pm 1 banana
3:45pm 1 apple & HB egg... yeah totally pushing it on the eating thing... SOO hungry... stomach stopped grumbling though so that's good.
 Zumba at Curves-Holmen at 5:30pm & Shake N' Shed Fitness at 7:15pm  so .5 hours.
Yeah, I was lucky & no one showed up at the shed to workout.
8:45pm Dinner
 1 serving Swai fish (my new found best protein entree choice) mixed frozen & fresh veggies, mushrooms, okra, summer squash & some other stuff I can't remember. It was a mixed bag. (no corn) & white rice. Still going easy on the stomach but this would have put me over the edge had it been a stomach bug & not icky food. Some more rehydrate. I forgot to take my Catalyst. :(
PS did a pre-scale weigh in (not that it means much to me as my clothes fitting much better means more) was 150.4. 

Day X Tues~ 2/15

Well I thought I would be ok but to spare you the nasty details lets just say I had a total body evacuation of whatever caused a really bad reaction.. I'm still not convinced it was a bug, but rather something I ate. I'm guessing the slightly outdated veggie chicken patty. morning prepacket went in since I thought I might have been finished but it came out... banana went in still convinced it would be ok & came out. Then gatorade & water but that didn't stay in either. Went home from work sick & pretty much laid in bed all day. Finally, I had enough & took some anti-poo meds. That stopped it after 1.5 doses. I took some Advocare rehydrate glass as that was nicely brought to me by the hubby when he got home. Had 1 cup white rice with a tiny bit of bullion cooked into it. & a few bites of applesauce. Yeah, that's it. I shouldn't have even had that.

Day 7~ Mon 2/14

Full until lunch 11:50 pre lunch pills 12:15pm lunch~fresh fruit 1 slice melon, 1 reg strawberry, 2 grapes, 1 pineapple ring & 1 choc. dipped strawberry (life is short you gotta have dessert 1st sometimes)
1-2pm still eating lunch... 2 cups lettuce salad with spray Italian on it, 1.5 servings imitation crab, 1 HB egg, 1 tomato 6 small green olives.
 2:30pm 2 grapes, 1 strawberry & 1 more choc. covered strawberry... WoW call the self control police back to duty as they must be on break today... :(
4pm ~ 1 banana
5pm~ 1 banana & 1 meal replacement bar 220 cal 20g protien "Quest Bar" peanut butter supreme... I won't have time for much else for dinner until late so figured I'd get most outta the way now. You'll  have to wait until later to find out how it tasted...
1 hour massage~mmmmm that's going to feel good... I had an infared 30 min. sauna treatment last night.
Then if anyone shows up (with it being V-day it's possible no one might) I'll have 1 hour of Zumba with limp & relaxed muscles... I've done it before but actually kinda hoping no one shows tonight. ;)
Quest bar was disgusting... I couldn't even choke down what they called a protein bar it was a pathetic excuse for food. :P  But not as bad as my dinner later on in the night as 3 people showed up for Zumba. I had some more spaghetti, a fake protein patty & some tomatoes... Apparently, I think the chicken patty a few days past the sell by date wasn't good as I didn't sleep well Monday night & then was ill all day Monday. :(

Day 6 of 15 now Sun 2/13

Morning packet & going to have the breakfast shake here soon. (have to wait the 30 min)
10:51~Drinking Breakfast. (Yeah, I slept in don't know how as it was broken & I guess I was just trying to  figure out how my habit of sleeping in late is all now disturbed at this point since I didn't feel tired) 30 min infared sauna treatment. :) Helps great with small aches & pains & sweat out toxins & burns some calories.
I feel so much better than I have before mentally, physically & emotionally. I'm so happy that I got to put away size large clothes... in a too skinny to wear box for the very 1st time ever this weekend! Looking forward to starting our pepper, eggplant, basil & watermelon seeds Feb. 26th & 27th already! FREAKING crazy it's already that time of year again! No Zumba classes today. Next weekend is my Zumba Toning certification so I'm already starting to pack for that!

 V-Day celebration Dinner 7pm~
7 Bridges restaurant~ 1.5 cups chicken rosemary soup .5 cup creamed Boston clam chowder 1 cup salad with tiny small amount of cheese on it & Italian dressing. 3/4 cup of honeydo melon, 1 cup steamed veggies no butter &  1.5 racks of ribs & small brushed on amount of BBQ (small ribs must have been from a mini pig or something... LOL & small sip of wine from hubby's wine.

Day 5... of 15 now Sat 2/12

7:45 morning prepills
Well I tried some new protein shake stuff this morning PL brand Pro-size is what it's called. Lots of healthy stuff in it (more than the Advocare but the same stuff none the less) However, stuff is 2x the cost & 1/2 the good taste. :(
9am Drank it~ more pills & Catalyst Almost urped up some of the shake 30 min later during my 2nd~30 min session of ZIC (Zumba in the Circuit) not pleasant... It was filling. Didn't notice any other differences with it other than that. Needless to say I won't be buying that PL product again (thank goodness it was 50% off with my MIL's discount) Had 2 hours of Zumba total (did 1 hour in BRF)
2pm Lunch salad with 7 small green olives, 1 tomatoe, 1.5 servings of fake crab, 1 HB egg, organic garlic spinach dressing.  Skinny water... didn't remember to Spark soon enough in the AM... Skinny water has lots of the same stuff in it but not nearly as much. Luckily on clearance & kinda did the job. Wanted a nap... I'm not surprised.
6pm ~slightly hungry will make something soon, too late in day to nap now....
 7pm dinner 2 low carb tomato wraps with taco filling of seasoned Mexican pork, refried beans, some salsa, some lettuce, a tiny bit of mixed cheese & a tiny bit of low cal no fat sour cream. Dessert 1/2 of a single serving of a Kemps sundae... Yes it was my naughty meal... stomach feels ok but possibly a bit too much food? Or perhaps it's the little bit of dairy that's making me feel not the best.

Day 4... not really... of 15 FRI 2/11

Was 1/2 way to dropping the dog off at daycare when I realized I didn't have my vitamins with me.. I'm going to have to take a day off & extend. I had my choc protein shake this morning 9:30am. No snack felt full.
 Lunch was eaten out: Fire chicken wrap~ pulled chicken, BBQ, hotsauce, baked beans, a little bit of cheese & sweet potato casserole with a few marshmallows on top. The wrap was too much food. Once again the stupid stomach didn't tell my brain soon enough to stop eating ( I didn't eat it all even) & my stomach hurts. :( 5pm
still stuffed. thinking about a banana but don't know why as still full.
No banana... 6:30pm dinner still not very hungry ate too much again. 6 bites of the wrap left over. 2 cups of baked veggies & some sweet & baked potato which was cooked with some olive oil & herbs & acorn squash too. I'm hoping that there wasn't any margarine in it as I wasn't the one who cooked dinner.
2 small pieces of homemade fudge (.75x.75.x.75 cubes)
Feel stupid full again 8:15pm. Water & to bed tonight nothing more.
Early day tomorrow.... Zumba in Circuit at Curves Onalaska at 8:30am, Zumba in Circuit at Curves Holmen at 9:30am & Zumba Fitness in BRF at River Country Fitness from 11-noon.

Day 3 of 14 THU 2/10

felt great this morning work up before alarm 7:35am
8:14am morning packet of pills with water (pre-breakfast)
9:35am hungry & trying the Advocare choc. meal replacement & 2 packets of pills
10am-thru 1pm Spark
12:30pm~salad 2 cups lettuce, 1 HB egg & 2.5 servings of fish protein chunks (aka. imitation crab) & spray Italian.
2pm snack~ 20 grapes
3:30pm snack~ a serving of cashews & banana.
4:30 1 stick of smotherella sticks... dang food sitting up front... the 2 things I'm not supposed to have & what is it? Dairy~butter sauce, cheese & Bread~ aka. pizza crust... I only had 1 as I fear my gut will grumble about during Zumba if I had anything more than that....
 Forgot Catalyst 15 min before.. which stinks as I should have taken it. 55 min Zumba at SNAP fitness Bluffside, tan & shower. Stepped on my non-usual scale & it said 153. Not bummed as perhaps it's some muscle & things are still fitting better. Wore a size small top today at work & it fit fine.
Dinner 8:30pm  Salmon steak with a bit of dill/lemon marinade, peas & carrots, whole grain white rice & 1/2 pt raspberries for dessert.
10:20pm bedtime.

Day 2 of 14 Wed. 2/9

felt great this morning work up before alarm but continued to try to sleep... not sure why as I failed to listen to myself that I was done sleeping but knew today is going to be a longer day again possibly.  I've never had this problem before feeling energized & ready to go in the AM... 8:14am morning packet of pills with water (pre-breakfast) these all stay the same & are clearly written out on the packaging so I'm going to stop writing in when I take the pills from here on out.
9:35am hungry & trying the Advocare vanilla meal replacement... I think I'm going to have to use will power to NOT drink these things several times a day... weird as all protein shakes I've had before have been gross or chokeable at best. I've tried Shaklee shakes :P yuck, slim fast SUPER yuck & I'll even throw a 1/2 Curves one in here possibly tomorrow to try & have possibly another brand I'm going to sample as well just for good measure to give my opinion on something.
11:30~ surprise 45 min. Zumba session
1:30pm~ lunch milked thru the afternoon... salad just lettuce & spray Italian, veggie marinara patty & 2 HB eggs, Spark too.
3pm snack~ a small amount of cashews literally like 3

Tonight is my 2 ~30 min. Holmen Curves Zumba sessions ( I took the Catalyst again 10 min before) & then 1 hour possibly at Shake N' Shed (sometimes no one shows up for this session time but not lately) I had 5 people a new record of people on Monday! Found out today my 4 week session for Saturdays in BRF are back on as people have apparently signed up for it... WoW I'm not sure I can really physically handle any more classes than this right now & have been approached with the possibility of another 2.5 hours adding next month per week. I thought the saturation of instructors in the area 50 instructors in 50 miles was insane & I'd never get a job in this economy still with that much competition, boy was I wrong. Good news is I'll be able to pay for the Zumba vacation & certs. with Zumba money & possibly even pay for a new jumbo rototiller for the garden. :) I've never felt better. Even when running a ton in HS I ran to get that "runners high" as it made me feel so good. I've been feeling that even without the running & getting there with Zumba recently. I feel like I've lost not only a bunch of weight but also years back on my life with the energy I've gotten back. Started the Catalyst vitamins right before working out last night & going to do it again tonight. It's supposed to target the fat while your working out & assist with muscle building & metabolism jump-starting while you exercise.
 My Zumba at Shake N' Shed had no one show up... probably for the best but is always a disappointment. I don't like to see businesses not have any clients it's not a good thing. I try to not think it's my fault or failing on my part that no one comes & am fairly confident it's not.
Dinner at 8:40pm~ 2 cup pasta & Gnocci with marinara, 1 veggie patty, sauteed in a little olive oil portabella mushrooms & garlic,  2 cup salad with a few green olives on it 1/2 tomato & organic spinach & garlic dressing. 1/2 pt. fresh raspberries for dessert. 10:20 bedtime... groan ate too much food for dinner. :( I feel overly full & bloated. My weigh in didn't show any progress since Saturday either... not that it's not to be expected but really I thought at least 1lb. would have come off as you can see I haven't been eating that much & my exercise was more intense than usual which is odd. Muscle does weigh more than fat, so perhaps it's trimming but not dropping the weight right now.

Day 1 of 14 Tue 2/8

Thanks for the comments Pam. :) Yesterday & Sunday was unusual circumstances. Typically, I do 30 min-1.5 hours of exercise a day I no longer have a YMCA membership as my 3 mo. pass ended but still have SNAP & S N' S that I can attend at. if I'm not already teaching there. 
8am~ So I took my morning prepacket (30 min before breakfast) the dog almost ate my probiatic pill which rolled off the counter. Thank goodness she knows drop pretty well & spit it out mostly in one piece. I really hope she's ok. I'm fairly certain she will be, but still concerned none the less. I mean if I was going to eat it, I assume that she would be. I know Omega 3's are actually fed to dogs for softer fur. Other than that little worry I feel good. Wearing my 10P skirt & it fits looser than when I wore it last week. :) & even put on a 36B today & it fit which that hasn't happened in 4 years either.
9:30am~ Advocare Choc. protein shake (220 cal) meal replacement  BTW (yummy) I had heard it was good, but still had bad memories of slimfast shakes from the past. I was SHOCKED that it tasted good REALLY good just like chocolate milk & 2 packets of pills with either breakfast or lunch (I took them all now so I don't have to remember later.) water. Might have a Spark but not feeling a lack of energy or anything. Woke up before the alarm, not quite used to feeling like getting out of bed w/o hitting snooze but didn't make it thru the 10 min. & felt it was time to get up.
11am not hungry at all, no snack needed.
11:50~ pills 30 min pre-lunch
Noon~ hungry.... exhaust fan is broken in the building next to/part of our office. Which is Hooters... thus we have all the fried food smells coming into our office. Oh the humanity.... I smell cheese curds!!
 12:30~ lunch remaining veggie patty w/ marinara & lettuce w/ rasp/cran & I'm not sure I can even finish that. 1/2 packet of Spark as I know it's going to still be a long day. Don't feel like I need it though....
2:15pm still no Spark.. will skip today as if it gets too late i'll be up far too late. Will mix it with my vanilla flavor shake tomorrow & make it a tropical fruit smoothie (after I taste the vanilla plain 1st)
2:30pm~ snack~ banana
30 min Zumba & 1 hour Belly dancing (not cardio, muscle isolation)
Advocare mtg. which was informative & helpful & gave me some ideas as well.
9:10pm Supper once again much later than I'd like to be eating. I was hungry at this point but didn't get the stomach grumbles like I would have expected from this long between food.
Had another 1 Veggie marinara patty, 1.5 servings peas & carrots mix & a dallop of buttery spread. Also, a banana for supper, water. I feel really really good & full still but now tired 10:50pm. So off to bed.

Day 10 (final cleanse day) Mon-2/8

7:50am I took my pills & then fiber drink 30 min later 10am~ breakfast (wasn't hungry) 1.5 cup of grapes
11:20am snack ~1 apple
12:30pm Lunch~  2 cups lettuce salad with cran/rasp dressing & 1.5 servings steamed mixed veggies (no corn) it was green beans, zucchini & carrots in a light rosemary butter sauce... very minimal sauce & most stayed at the bottom of the bowl so it's not like it had that much on it at all & 1 clementine. Have tuna but not hungry to eat that just yet now 3pm...
 No rest for the wicked tonight... my private Zumba session canceled out.. however am filling in from 5:20-6:20 @ S N' S & 6:35-7 @snap & my regular class of 7:15-8:15pm for Zumba @ S N' S. 2.5 hours of Back 2 Back Zumba.. I must be nuts. :P
 Anyways, upon looking at my suggested eating sheet for the next 14 days I noticed I had failed to be taking 4-6 Omega-plex vitamins with dinner each night... *rolling eyes* I did take them today. I personally had been taking Omega-3 vitamins (usually this or that brand) & hadn't ever noticed a difference. If your taking the 24 day challenge however it probably would have been a good idea to take them as the sheet said in small bold print  on the suggested foods sheet. It was NOT in the text or packet that was in the 10 day cleanse mentioning anything about it. Obviously, it might have helped. I'm not sure as it's not my weigh in day but I'm fairly confident I dropped 10 lbs. in 10 days.  I didn't go hungry either. I actually could have eaten more from the suggested food list but didn't feel like I needed it or felt full.
9:30pm dinner (amazingly i'd been not famished at this point) which is shocking after all that exercise.
1 protein patty called "smart cutlets" (aka. veggie patty) in marinara sauce a .99 special for 2 patties so that's lunch tomorrow! NO HFCS or anything that I shouldn't be eating in it so super healthy. I'm glad I picked up all of them as they are dated for later this week. They were good & very tasteful. 1 larger sized baked potato with some of the "buttery spread" on them non-dairy non hydronaged oils (or however you spell that) Too late to go look it up & green beans & a tiny bit of bacon mixed in (from the restaurant saturday night) bacon's not on the list so it was my little treat & of course as always lots of water. Feel stuffed. 11pm bedtime. Tomorrow day 1 of the 14 day metabolic & energy restore.

Day 9 Sun~ 2/6

Ok I skipped a day of info. Basically I took my pills & then fiber drink 30 min later with breakfast of 1/2 orange 1/2 cup BB, 3/4 cup of grapes.
took a Slam (pretty much same thing as Spark but different vitamins & amino acids in it) didn't personally notice much of a diff. between the 2 really.. however worked my butt off all day with Zumba Basic 2 cert. doing a master class & mini classes & technique sessions most of the day.
 Lunch can of tuna, 1 serving cashews, HB egg. Yeah, didn't have much time to eat... :( too much talking not enough eating.
Snack~ HB egg & some grapes (1 serving) cashews
Dinner was salad & the cran/rasp dressing, apple, banana, 1 serving cashews.
Wasn't hungry when I got home went to bed late soo busy after getting home at 9pm.

Day 8 ~Sat. 2/5

This is going to be a quick one.
 8am Probiatic pill in the am 30 min later the fiber drink... remember the order for tomorrow. quagulated fiber drink with a spoon this morning..  banana for breakfast.
30 min Zumba in the circuit in Holmen. 1 hour Zumba in BRF.
 1pm HB egg, 2 bananas & an apple for lunch.
3pm HB egg, 1 banana & a few cashews. I was traveling most of the day so it was difficult to eat salad while driving.
7pm Dinner Prime rib (yes I cut off all the fat) a few green beans & some applesauce. a carrot, apple slice & felt full. It was a double portion of a serving of meat...  the rest got packed away. I never had my grapes last night so I'll have a few here soon. Basic 2 Zumba cert tomorrow so to be early as I'll be up early tomorrow.

Day 7~ Friday 2/4

I forgot to mention I did weigh myself on a different scale yesterday & it said 153.6 which wasn't surprising at all with how pathetic I ate yesterday and don't see it as a very big victory as that's NOT the way to do it. Wearing size 10 pants today pulled out of the "too fat to wear drawer". Very comfortably & even a bit loose fitting so that's a very pleasant boost today. Packing away my fat pants next weekend as even with a belt there's too much fabric there now. :)
2 probiatics this morning 8:30am
9:48am Breakfast~ 1/2 packet of Spark, 1 banana & 1 clementine.
12:15pm Lunch~ Tomato lettuce, peas, carrots & red cabbage salad. Cranberries & cran-rasp organic dressing.
 Oh great... food up front... yummy cheese & processed meat tray... so not going to do it. Had only they done that like Tuesday next week I would have taken a piece or 2... :(  Oh well salad tastes almost as good as 153.6 feels! Best I've weighed in over 4 years now... if I hit 117 (barely) I haven't weighed that since spring of 2004.
3:40pm~Snack 2 HB eggs, a little salt & a clementine
5:45pm Dinner~ BWW 6 wings with the vinegar & salt dry seasonings.. 2 honey BBW boneless wings & 5 pieces of  celery (only a few got lightly dipped into Ranch) & 4 small French fries these aren't no McD's huge honkers we're talking about.  I know, not exactly on the list of ideal foods but hubby won't eat wings that have bones in them I haven't cheated too much & will pick some of the skin off so i'm not eating it all. Will see what they also have that I should eat... Don't think there will be much at all. :( Most is deep fried & very bad for you. Didn't get anything else.. nothing was on the menu without modifications I could eat during the cleanse.  So yeah I guess I was bad. My tummy hurts a tiny bit. Not sure if it's guilt or the food I ate (greasy). Broke everything by eating Breaded chicken (the boneless 2 pieces), fried foods & even a little bit of dairy in there. (I really didn't  have that much Ranch). I might have a few grapes but feeling pretty full right now at 8:45pm. Jamie got me an early Vday present as I took my wedding set in to be resized down an ENTIRE size. It was starting to twist around when I was typing, more than a major annoyance when you have over 2 carots on  your rings. I really feel naked without my ring. Obviously, with not weighing this in 4 years I wouldn't have been this weight to know that it would have gotten this loose. Not to mention we can't afford me to lose it or have it fly off & hit someone during Zumba either. They had some Vday sales going on & I got a man made ruby heart  & SS ring early so I can wear that while my ring is being resized until 2/19. :)
 Totally forgot that I will be taking my 3 cleansing pills before bed with appropriate water.

Day 6- THU 2/3

I forgot to post I had to go dig out some smaller Pj's as I was getting tired of the ones I had that tied almost falling off... sorry to my sister who bought me the cool now too big penguin PJ's I'll save them for if I need them if/when we have a kid.
This morning started off great! I had to go into the "too small"  & stuff I don't wear much closet which usually collects dust most of the time... Got up the nerve to try on a pair of cords & the size 8 pants fit! A little snug but they buttoned & everything!
8:20am~ morning probiatic pills & water
9:40am-forgot to eat (it's busy at work) but did have some grapes after I remembered.
11am I found out our adopted less than 2 months ago foster pug died. :_( We had her for almost 5 months & she was the sweetest dog but needed to go to a family with no other pets as she didn't get along well long term with dogs or cats all that great. I'm just devastated about it.
1pm- hungry. but don't feel like eating... still feel horrible about past foster dogs very untimely death.
Eating, but still not feeling good stomach hurts but it's from the crying. 2 Bananas & grapes so far...2:41pm
4pm clementine... stomach still upset, it's coming & going in waves though so everything is coming to terms & going better. It's hard to explain right now but there were meaningful conversations with the "furever" family that makes it so difficult & makes me feel like I should have seen something or thinking back that I missed some sign that she wasn't feeling top notch or something. There wasn't much of anything that I didn't think was out of the ordinary. :(
8pm~ Eating dinner still don't really feel like it but I know grief takes time to come to terms with.
Made a substitute from the regular diet i'm pretty sure it would be ok. sauteed some squid in a tiny bit of olive oil & added a tiny dash of white wine near the end... I know... I couldn't help it. I figured most of it cooked out or was left in the pan anyways. 1.5 cups of white whole grain rice & 1.5 cups of frozen green beans with a tiny bit of "buttery spread" aka. non-dairy stuff... I know that can't be any better than just using a tiny bit of butter but I already had it in the house so it's not like I'm going to throw out food or anything. I'll just have to use it up slower than I used too as I am also seeing how eating better healthier food even though it's more expensive is better for you in the long run.
11pm bedtime & it was a rough night I kept thinking about things I shouldn't have & working myself up again.

Day 5- WED. 2/2

Hope that groundhoggy is right... man with SnOMG hit Chicago & most of the lower part of WI. missing us I was just happy to have 4 ft. drifts in my way this morning.
8:10am~ probiatic restore & water
Breakfast 9:10am~ clementine & banana
Hungry at noon-- phone was lit up like Grand Central on break...
Lunch 12:45 1.5 servings Green Giant steamed special blend veggies (no corn) 1 cup fake crab meat (aka fish) & a clementine.
afternoon snack 4pm ~Banana
Zumba Curves in Holmen 1/2 hour only... no one was able to make the 6:15pm tonight I guess. The weather wasn't that great & the temps started getting into the wind chill level.
7:15pm-8:15pm 1 hour Shake N' Shed Zumba.
 8:25pm ~ Yes, I was hungry at this point... I was looking for the banana that I know was in my purse & it was there the whole time but couldn't find it for some reason.
Quick stop into the grocery store. Picked up 4 bags of lettuce at  59¢ each. Some dated 2/10 not kidding. I guess that must have been a mistake. & a few other healthy items.
9:15pm~ 1 boneless skinless chicken breast reheated. Yes, I did have to break down & use a tiny bit of BBQ sauce with HFCS in it, green beans with 0 cal. buttery spread (no dairy in it) It's not margarine either.
 2.5 cups of lettuce, carrots & cabbage mix & 1 TBS. of dried cranberries, HB egg & 2 TBS. of raspberry/cran organic dressing. (NO HFCS in it or dairy)  a few grapes for dessert.
10:50pm Bedtime & 3 green cleanse pills & water.
Want the real kicker of a great way to end the day I weighed myself several times as I couldn't believe the scale... 155.0 Yeah... my Saturday weigh in on Jan. 29th 161.4 I have lost 6.4 lbs in 4.5 days. I haven't weighed 155 in over 4 years possibly since sometime in late 2005 I might have weighed around that.
I'm guessing some of it is the "tweeks" in the diet this week.  Which I had been doing on my own too  the previous 3 months adjusting & further adjustments dropping dairy & white flours, but no way that it is the only thing that has caused that much weight loss. The most I'd seen in an entire week  in the past 3 months was about 2.2 lbs. with the dietary adjustments... I'm still not at an entire week into the cleanse yet. If I've been hungry I've eaten something. Off of the list of  course but I've not starved or felt hungry at ALL unless it was an unreasonable time between me eating which is my own fault.
I've had that hump right around 157 that I couldn't really break for a few years now. Not to mention the fact that my advisor has mentioned that a lot of the weight actually comes off during the 14 days after the 10 day challenge. So I am going to just keep doing what I'm doing & I will continue to work on the end goal & be happy with whatever that is. :)

Day 4 ~Tues. Feb. 1st

8am~ No fiber drink this morning probiatic replacements instead.
9:30am~ breakfast grapes (about 30) 60 cal.
11am ~1/2 packet of Spark (cherry flavor) 22 cal.
12:10pm Lunch~ salad 2 cups with 1 fresh tomato, 1 HB egg, 6 small green olives, 1/2 portion of Salmon & spray lite Italian dressing.
2pm snack~ banana
5:30-6:05pm Zumba in the Circuit at Curves in Onalaska
7pm dinner - I was hungry at 6:20pm but yeah... FB won that battle, before that time wasn't bad a little hungry but not bad. 1 boneless skinless chicken breast. 1 cup green beans (from frozen) and left over couscous & a little bit of the topping. No dessert.
10:30 bedtime & the 3 cleansing pills. Lots of water today. :)
